How many hubs do you traditionally write in a week?
I started out strong writing a handful every single week when I got started, but then had to consider other ways to make money. lol Now I feel successful if I can get 2-3 written a week. How about you? Am I really slacking?
I usually write one or two a week. I don't think the amount you write reflects whether or not you are slacking, as long as you keep on writing what you can. Sometimes certain hubs just require a little more work than others. I know my writing slowed down a lot when I started running out of topic ideas.
Lol Thanks! I have tons of ideas, and would love to keep writing at the same pace, but we really need money. So I have to work on other options, like my certification program and my books in the meantime. I wish I could just do nothing but write.
I only wrote one every ten days or so. Then again I have a busy full time job.
Boy! I am sure slacking ! I write 1 hub per month! I used to write 1 hub a week but it is time consuming as I have to fetch thru and fro my son from school, household chores and hub hopping... need more time to type in the hubs and do the grammar and spelling checking. So, time is the problem. You did well, and amazing!
I set myself the goal of getting to 100 hubs by the end of 2013 which requires me to write one every week which I am so far managing to do. Writing a hub is only slow going for me when I have to research a topic or figure out how to solve a problem that I think is worthy of a hub.
I agree with what Lisa said, when you run out of ideas, that can seriously slow down your writing.
Everyone has their own pace, so just because you produce less than others does not mean you are slacking, just that you have less time. As long as you are happy with your output that is all that matters!
I write everyday.. and then i keep updating my hubs. im 14 days old here in hubpages. and now i have 10 simultaneously featured hubs.
I write whenever I can at least a few a week sometimes one or two each day, and trying to be more active on other parts of HP
well I just am getting started. I would say one or possibly two a week right now. It depends on the editing. That is always a challenge.
I'm pretty new to HubPages but right now I'm writing around one Hub every two days, when I reach my goal of 30 Hubs I'll be starting doing at least one Hub every week. It's a good think that I like to write about the things I like.
I just start a couple day's ago I already have 4. I don't keep any specific schedule I just write when I feel and that's freedom. It's a good way to go. I wish I could get more traffic though :l
I'm slacking - that's for sure. I write a Hub whenever I'm in the mood to write one. I may/may not publish it immediately. (I have a good excuse, though: These days I spend a good part of my time listening to research stuff on Kindle, and while I'm doing that and just to have something to do while I'm listening, I have HubPages up and kind of aimlessly and mindlessly wander from one thing to another on HP. In other words, I don't have the time these days to do much other than have HP as "sort-of-interactive wallpaper" on my computer. The point is a) the dog really did not eat my Hubs, and b) I'm not really quite the slacker that I may appear to be while you, on the other hand, don't seem like a slacker to me at all. )

I have just started, so I dont expect it in the near future, but how many hubs, or how many months before you start making money? How much traffic is considered to be good traffic? Right now I am getting about an average of 75 hits per day on 4 hubs. Is that good? What...

I am averaging around 6 hubs per week. Not too bad. I am not sure how that compares to the general average, but I would love to know. Also, happy 4th of July to you all!Bruce

I can do up to 4 hubs. I can do more on vacation or when I retire from my job someday.

Do you have a lot of 'red' hubs sitting in your HP account? Or do you decide on a topic, concentrate on that one hub and see it through from start to finish, before even considering the next one?I always have a large collection of red hubs, which I mostly started but abandoned somewhere along...

I have created a pitiful 29 hubs in four years. But I'm a lot more active on facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Search. You people MUST LIVE ON HERE! How in the world do you find subjects for crying out loud? You must be just writing for writing sake. In order to write something, I have to FEEL IT,...
