How many hub views do I need a day to earn a decent living on hubpages?
To earn a decent living? You would have to live and breathe the hubpages and even then i don't know about decent.
Most folks here would be thrilled to just make a $50 payout every month, which certainly isn't a "living." Better to treat your Hubbing as a side gig/hobby and any earnings as an occasional bonus.
What is your idea of a decent living? It will very likely take several years to reach even a few hundred monthly. You will need LOTS of content that is in demand year round, year in and year out and you must bring in high traffic on a daily basis. If any of these things are off, you would be lucky to earn pennies or a few dollars in a month, let alone a "decent" living.
FatFreddysCat has it right. This should be considered an additional stream of income unless you are literally home and computer bound. There is potential however, even the few hubbers who are making the most of all the hubbers here have been consistent with their efforts for several years PRIOR to earning their highest payouts. Their first year, two or more were likely low paying.
You would need to literally LIVE on hubpages for probably a good 3 to 5 years before you would see your highest payouts and this is with herculean efforts on your end to the exclusion of other things and people in your life. That doesn't sound so great to me but to each his or her own.

I'm relatively new to Hubpages, and so far I've published three articles. However, the view numbers are pretty small, and I'd like to increase them. I'm currently writing some more Hubs right now, but any tips that you'd like to share, I'd really appreciate them

I’ve been reading many questions on the forums about how to get more traffic to your hubs. I’m a great believer in testing something, analysing the results, refining and sharing, and I approached the subject of how to get hub views in a practical methodical way. I’ll share my techniques below and...

How many hub views do you have for the last 24 hours?

That's nothing for some Hubbers, a lot for others. But after being here for more than three years, watching my views go up, and then watching them go down, sitting at the bottom of Panda after February, and knowing that I don't write here with SEO in mind, this is something special. Something good...

Newish to HubPages and noticed one of my hubs "Sweet Potato-Carrot Soup" has received over 30 hits today, yet if I do a search for it on google, I don't come across it. I was futzing around with linking soup on another hub and accidentally clicked the sweet potato one (not sure if its...
