How to make a successful Hub?
Hello, i'm new at this and would like your help. If you can give me a few pointers on what they're looking for as far as publishing a hub goes and making money. Plus has anyone made any good money off this site, if not were is a good place for a freelance writer to look for work?
Try to publish more interesting, creative and informative hubs that people show interest to read. Be search engine oriented to gain more traffic. Most of all, be active in hubpages to earn more.

I made a video game hub that I published in early December 2010. This hub went viral (to an extent). It started to receive 1000 views a day. I have been writing about chickens, food, Christmas and running but my most successful hub has been about a video of a woman putting a cat in a bin. So my question is what kind of hubs get the most traffic, is it current affairs/news and should I concentrate on that?

How to make a successful hub?I've read tons of hubs on how to make yours a success; most of it is over my head since I am a newbie, but I didn't know if someone could just give me a list of the basics in what to do to tweak my hubs or write better ones.
