Hmm... didn't find any of my hubs on there, but there are hubs. Maybe it'll be a good thing since the links go directly to the hubs.
Yes. I have seen it. Several of my hubs are there.
One thing the site DOES do--regardless of what others have said--is get your writing more exposure.
I don't know if it will make you any more money but it does get you more exposure.
It's been discussed a lot:
interesting that this sites "popular pages" first page is all Indian and Pakistani "sexy" photo hubs!
the article links do lead directly to a hub, at least the ones I looked at
So here he is:
Ben David, Motti
Hagdud Ha Ivri 22
Bat-Yam, NA 59416
Domain name: besthubpages.com
(discovered in a former forum discussion of besthubpages.com - has an interesting address!?
I found no copying and reposting either. All of my hubs that are listed there are backlinks to the HP originals. From this I conclude (for now) that it might be beneficial because this site is backlinking. However, the jury is out on the rest, I just don't know enough about it.
Any other insights?
I didn't find any of mine either. Then again it does say the best of hubpages and mine don't get a lot of traffic yet.
I did notice that all of the hubs listed are "Tracked" I didn't find any of mine but I didn't look that hard. Not really sure what that means but it is in each hub address
I didn't see any Poetry on it...That "Best of" copy site has no taste!
It's a guy who registered a name, and who does nothing but link to the genuine HubPages site, adding trackers to everything he does. A one-man backlinking operation, nothing more. And not a web site of value that's for sure.
doesnt seem harmful either....just a huge 'follower' of HP?
So this is his way to get a possible 10% of impressions and clicks for the life of each hub by using a tracker? And we get a single backlink per hub that he uses?
I didn't look long, but found one of mine on arthritis. I saw habee's on venison roast that she just wrote in the last day or so.
That only happens if the person who passes through the tracked link then signs up and makes lots of successful Hubs.
He's clearly trying to clean up via referrals, but from looking at my own, you are more likely to get someone who signs up and then does absolutely nothing than get a Hub-making genius.
They know about it and there isn't any affiliation, there is a thread from last year which Paul Deeds addressed.
it looks like the poster takes the hubs from the home page of HP if you click on the blue tracker URL.
My websites have hundreds of (tracked)links back to hubpages articles also. (with custom summaries)
This guys site certainly doesnt hurt anyone, its not a malicious enterprise...its an affiliate site..and you are the product!
As for backlink..I dont know about that, trackers are a redirect, Im not quite sure they are given much if any weight as a backlink
But I havent really read or experimented enough to be sure.
Right now, Im leaning towards not a weighted backlink.
on my sites, I place a direct URL and a tracked URL...the tracked URL is the one presented in a place that will most likely be clicked, the non-tracked is their for whatever juice I can send.
Thanks for the info sunforged and relache. I really appreciate it.
I'm just flattered my hubs --or some of them--are on there.
it's not like anyone knows I'm here beyond 80 plus people who follow me and my few readers in the real world who don't belong to HP.

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

I have been having a look at the site and I find that from 2012 onwards HubPages was not doing very well and perhaps it would've gone under like Helium and Suit 11. I think in 2018 or 19 it was taken over by maven and the new system was put in place. Generally what I find is that the site is not...

My Take on Hub Pages. It's alright for them to take our content and just add whatever type of adds they want. Why? Because when someone reads ""our content"" and clicks on one of these adds, Hub Pages makes money. Yes you say, they share it with us. The Truth! Hub...

I've been a little down about not having received a payout for nearly two years of participation here, but I'm looking at Triond, another writing site, and I must say how grateful I am for the amount of control I have about how my article looks here at Hub Pages by comparison. When I delete...

Please make a note of all of us in several forums that have found so many (or our) hundreds of copied hubs onto other sites. Read the threads because they contain so much information and then DO SOMETHING about it for all of us at Google. NOW.I've only just begun to look for stolen hubs and...
