    Hi Hubbers,

I am trying to post my first article, could someone help me. I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Not sure why this hasn't passed. There aren't any promotional links or anything. I really like the intro, it tells the reader exactly what the article is about.

I'd suggest working on the title to make it shorter: 10 Ways to Market Your Mobile App or similar.

Add one or two images to break up the text.

      Good luck!

I think the third paragraph might be a problem, especially the second sentence in the paragraph. The person who reviewed your article may have thought that you were promoting your business.

I agree. I think it is okay to add that type of info in your bio but putting it in the article makes it look like an ad.
On the profile page is a link to his Medium page. It looks very commercial too. I do not know if that is part of the problem.

Hi Piysim, AliciaC might be right, but in my experience blogs like this often don't get featured. I wrote one a while back and I couldn't get it featured for love nor money and I am a digital media marketing specialist! It kept coming up as possible spammy content even though I couldn't identify what on earth that might have been. I gave up on it in the end. I have just submitted something similar about promoting a blog so we'll see what happens. Did you get a reason for the disapproval?

Actually my latest article is featured. I have come to the conclusion that it was the live links to directories that was stopping the first one from featuring. I find it useful for readers to be able to click links that take them right to the particular resource. That's how I write these articles for other platforms. I might be wrong, but I had no issue with my latest article featuring and that's the only thing that could possibly have been the issue.

Thanks for the feedback, also, could you tell me what is the backlink policy on subpages? What types of backlinks I can include?

No backlinks. None. You can backlink TO HubPages, but not from. HubPages has a no self-promotion policy.
