    HubPages,

Can you please update us on the ongoing Amazon earnings glitch? Will it be resolved soon. It's nice to see the HP earnings program rebounding this month, but without the Amazon earnings data, it's hard to tell how things are actually going.

      Three possibilities:

Lawyers have staff strapped to chairs and are inserting NDA's in every orifice
Staff live in terror of giant Maven wasps laying eggs in their children and dare not speak
No one knows what is going on

The last is the most likely.

We are still working with Amazon to resolve this issue. We apologize for the delay.

Will we be paid for all sales made after April 21? My sales are not reflecting anything since that date, but I have sales every day, so I'm definitely perplexed. Can you explain exactly what is happening? Thanks you.

If they are still working with Amazon to resolve it, then obviously they don't know what is happening. If they did, they'd have fixed it by now.

My view - Amazon doesn't care about affiliates right now.  They are making such big sales that they don't need us, so they don't care.

I turned off my Amazon earnings account for 2 reasons:

    1) I rarely make any sales anyway; I can count them on my fingers, with fingers leftover, how many sales I've made over the years since I started that program. But more importantly, now,

    2) I do not wish to be a hypocrite, and the things I have learned over the last year or so about how that company does business, how it treats its employees, and how it manages to skirt paying its fair share of taxes, I boycott them and won't shop there, so why should I turn around and "profit"(what a joke) from any sales they make?!

Does turning off your Amazon account mean your articles have more HubPages ads on them?

        No.

After what Amazon has recently done and is still doing to the affiliates, I wouldn't be surprised if someday soon HP shows them the door.

I hope not because that is half my income.  You don't slam a door on money until you have one just as good, or better, to open. Otherwise, it's a loss to us and there is no concealing that.

Agreed. It all depends on just how much remaining money we are talking about. I'm sure HP would keep doing business with them as long as it is worth it. While we are at it it, I'd sure still like to know why HP gave AdSense the boot.

Edit. Or was it the other way around?

HP did not give AdSense the boot. They just eliminated the need for “bring your own AdSense” —- making it easier for newbies to get started earning.  I still see AdSense ads in our hubs.

I know some of you make good money as Amazon Affiliates. I really hope this gets resolved soon for the people like you.

I just received this response from HP:

"There is an issue with Amazon data. Once Amazon resolves this issue and provides us with earnings data we will update your earnings. This is a sitewide issue."

I have my Amazon ads settings turned on but I'm yet to figure out how it works or how to know if you made a sale. And whatever it is that is sold.

But I'm sure if it was not pending, I would have already understood how it works.
