Thanks. It's GMT + 2.15 now in Nigeria. Have a nice day.
Can you take these messages over to the Topical Forum?
https://hubpages.com/forum/20
This 'side' is for writing and publishing at HubPages
While I agree with you, to be fair, it's no worse than the "Quote of the Day" posts. Some people see these forums as just another Facebook.
I know I have suggested that Quote of the Day just use one continuous thread, but that was rejected.
It sounds a bit finicky, but I think, given that there is a dedicated 'any topic' forum, this side should be for writing/technical questions, threads and ideas related to publishing articles.

Agree 100%. But I've all but given up on the hope of this section being a dedicated area for writing and HP-related issues ever again. I came to these forums to learn every single day when first starting out. I don't know how someone new to HubPages manages these days. It's a mess.
Social interaction is nice but that's what the other forums are for.
Apparently, some people are unable to write without such inspiration. They wake up in the morning too demoralized to type a single word. It's only upon seeing a vaguely positive and out of context quote by Voltaire or Plato that they can find the courage and energy to start tapping the keys.
Bev, agreed. But why did not the hubpages' staff moderate the thread? If a thread is post wrong, I opined HP should re-direct it. I've experienced that once.
That aside, It seems some have not realised what the "Good morning" is all about. The morning is saturate with green energy. When one wake up from a good night's sleep, there's a refreshing for the soul and mind. Seriously, the good morning depicted that. Or have one Castlepaloma ever been greating you with a bad morning?
Thank you for the message. It is important to communicate with others. Good morning is important word of the day. Many blessings to you.
Thank you so much, dear, everyone criticizing me for sending a good morning message.
No one is criticising you, Urwa. We're just pointing out that these messages should be posted here: https://hubpages.com/forum/topical
It's not your fault, it's HP's fault for having this 'freeform' thing on this forum. The set up is confusing for new people.
It won't affect anyone unless they use this url to access the forum: https://hubpages.com/forum/hubpages I don't read messages via categories, but by the Discussion topic list down the right side of the page.

There are a lot of us who haven't been feeling safe on the forums. They've felt stalked, harassed and browbeaten.Sadly, some folks go with the letter of the law, but not the spirit of it in their posts. For an excellent post on why we need Forum Moderators, check out what Makingamark says here...

Some of us are encountering an issue in the forum. On the front page, it will indicate that responses have been made since we last participated in a thread, but when we click on the name of the most recent respondent, rather than being taken to that response, we come to the start of the last page...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

Evening. I'm new; so, I'm not aware if I made any overlook the rules on forum posting. With the article approval, is there a way to find what mistakes and rules that relate to unpublished articles so I know in what area I can improve and edit? The links are very helpful; but, they have too much...

I'm starting to see AI-generated comments in the forum. This may well become the new normal, not just AI in submitted articles but also forum comments will become increasingly common. The comments don't have the colloquial feel and voice that people normally use in the forums. They have the detached...

New people are always welcome on this site, but they need to understand that this is not a site like Facebook. HP is a community of writers who have come here to hone their skills and perhaps earn a few dollars. If your only goal is to show up out of the blue, produce nothing, but spend your...
