Hello Beautiful Souls,
I submitted this article to ReelRundown and it was not accepted by the editors

This is the message I recieved from the editors. I would appreciate if someone can help me with what good can I do with this
Thank you
I think you have the basis of a great article. I enjoyed reading it. The main problems that I noticed were the English errors and the sentence fragments, or incomplete sentences.
I found one sentence puzzling. “When Bugs Bunny was born in Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera imagines her cat and mouse.” Bugs Bunny, Hanna, and Barbera were males, so I don’t know who the word “her” is referring to.
You need to check the licenses of the photos again. You’ve said that the photos have a Creative Commons license. I checked some of them and they are actually “All rights reserved.” You need to be careful with the licenses because you are showing photos created by businesses.
Hi Linda,
Thanks a lot for pointing out that silly mistake of mine. I have now made the corrections. You were right about the license of the photos. Those photos were from Flickr. I always feel Flickr very confusing. Well, I changed those pictures now. Is there anything more I can do?
Thanks a lot for your time. I really appreciate that.
Blessings
Dont be sad sis, I face the same issue in my article. If you solved this issue then help me too.
Ha ha, Urwa. Sure, Pray for me
I already have some of my articles on the network sites, but some of them are getting the same message from the editors upon requesting a submission to different network sites. Maybe, I am making some kind of mistake that I am not aware of.
Blessings to you, dear sister
Some of the niche sites are pickier than others, Misbah. For instance I have never had an article accepted for Deliciably, though I have submitted two and one used to be my most popular hub. If they aren’t accepted now I rarely worry as long as they are at least on Discover.
Misbah, in the section about Bugs Bunny, the Subtitle and first sentence say he first appears in 1940. In the third paragraph, you mention he first come on the scene in 1939.
You also have periods where you should have commas. For instance, in the very first sentence, you should have a comma after "What's up doc?" and lower case f in the word for.
In the Tom and Jerry section, autocorrect inserted a capital C after Warner Bros. Check the words following each abbreviation to see if they need editing, i.e. unnecessary capitalization.
That's about as far as I got, but I do like the subject matter of your article. Clean up the grammar, punctuation, and any inconsistencies, and I think it will do well.
It might be fun to include a short video for each character. It will give those of us who grew up with these characters a sense of nostalgia, and newcomers a visual experience.
Hi Shauna,
Thank you so much for your time and kind suggestions. I highly appreciate that. You are right about the years 1939 and 1940. Actually, there is confusion about the year and I should mention it. During the research, I saw, somewhere it is 1939, somewhere, it's 1940 and somewhere it was even written as 1938 or in the late 1930s. The year is not confirmed, it appears differently on different sites.
Kindly can you check the images below? I think 1940 is the most accurate year as it says about the official appearance of Bugs Bunny, but I think, I should mention in my article that there is confusion regarding the actual year.
The other problem you mentioned regarding auto-capitalization. I believe you are right, it is due to the auto-correction feature. I will check it now and the grammar and punctuation too.
I loved your idea to add short clips for each character. It will bring liveliness to the article.
I highly appreciate you taking the time to read and pointing out the mistakes -- Much gratitude
Blessings always
Misbah, according to time.com (as in the magazine), Bugs' first official appearance was in 1940.
It looks like you're using Wikipedia as a reference source. In previous copywriting positions I've held we were warned to not use Wikipedia as a reference because it's not written by experts, rather freelance writers who compile research. I'd look for more credible sources when doing your research on any topic.
Thanks a lot for telling me about this, Shauna
I have researched it from various sites, but yes the image I sent is from Wikipedia. I too believe 1940 to be the accurate year and I have changed it in the article as well. Thank you so much for the information. Highly appreciated
Blessings
I enjoyed reading this article. Early on in my HubPages experience, another writer suggested that I use a free version of Grammarly. It has been a great help for checking basic grammar and spelling.
I realised quite soon that HubPages liked structure. Have you thought of putting a more general introduction at the beginning and a conclusion at the end maybe?
Have you thought of numbering your different sections and adding a text capsule after the introduction with a list of the sections? That way readers can move quickly to find their favourite one.
HubPages also seem to like variety. Could you add a poll maybe? So that readers could vote for their favourite characters.
I hope this helps. Be encouraged though. This has the makings of a good article and many of us have had similar experiences.

I notice I still have some articles published on Hubpages.com. What's the story about those? Are they visible and indexed on the web? The URLs are appearing in a search, so they must be.
