Google Analytics Showing Traffic to Unpublished Article

    I unpublished a DIY article a couple of months ago because I was worried about litigation. I notice it's still showing traffic on GA for some reason.

      A small number of views are likely to be attributed to yourself if you have been accessing them.
      What kind of numbers are you looking at? I wonder if it could be a cached page thing. I'd be interested to find out.

    They're not from me though. I checked the country and they're from the US and UK. Possibly cached. There seem to be a few per day.

      That is weird. Must be a caching or similar. I can't really think of another way a page could exist without it being published. Quite the puzzle.
