how do i get followers?

   Im new to this..how do i get followers and whats the whole number concept about?

      Welcome to hubpages! The number thingy is called your hubscore. It's kind of a number that goes up based on your total participation in HB. DOn't worry too much about it, it takes some time to raise (it goes to 100). Oh and you get fans by writing good hubs and helping out other hubbers ;D

      Welcome to HubPages and to the Forums.
      
      Fans/followers are about getting yourself noticed. The forums are a good place to start with that.
      
      You can also get yourself noticed by reading other people's hubs and commenting on them. If you see something you like, then help them by rating it up.
      
      You can check out these two hubs by Frogdropping. She is an excellent writer and wrote two hubs on Hubpages.
      
      To help you with hubs themselves, I would recommend reading Darkside. Another awesome writer and hubber.

      Check out the forums, get involved in the discussions (but don't take anything too personally) and jump into the game threads.  Also, check out other Hubbers, follow the ones you like, read their hubs and leave comments - many will do the same.  Enoy!!

   Just be natural.  Post valuable and interesting contributions and publish great content in your hubs.
