I can't believe it! I have just hit 10,000 views. When i first started I was getting 50 hits in a good week, now 100 plus per day.
thanks to the support of my followers and everyone on the forums who have been kind in their comments and given me the enthusiasm to carry on. I understand that the next accolade is achievable just might take a little time!
Congrats and it will just keep on increasing as time goes by! Cheers!
Congrats on reaching 10,000!
Next stop- 100,000 for you.
I'm almost to 300,000 myself.
Congrats, Case1. My own 10,000 was less than 2 months ago; it is now at about 23,000. It does indeed come faster and faster. Although I fear that the next actual accolade (100,000) is still a little ways off!
thank you every body, it is the support of other hubbers that keeps me going
Congratulations, that is a great milestone!
As I tell everyone, write the date down that you hit 10,000. Keep track of each 10,000 and you'll be amazed at how quickly each one comes from here on out. I just hit half a million this week and I wouldn't have imagined it was possible back when I only had 1000. But, I kept working at it. I have my sights set on the million mark now.
I forgot to do that, but it wasn't that long ago and I will hit 20k soon. I will be sure to write that down as you wisely advise.
One thing I have been watching is Google traffic increases. Just last month I had the first day where that exceeded HP views. It still doesn't always beat HP, but that is becoming more common.
This web stuff is one place where getting older is good for you
Older is definitely good for you. The best Hub earners I have are the Hubs I wrote more than two years ago. But they didn't start to achieve their payouts until recently. This is definitely a place where things grow better with time, so long as content is original and evergreen. My Google and other search engine traffic trump HP's traffic 10 to 1.
two years! i will book the cruise for October 2012! thanks for the inspiration to hang on
Definitely hang in there...you are much more productive than I and in a much shorter time. Just keep going and learn as you go. By October 2012, I may book that cruise with you.
thanks, at the moment i find the thought of 85,000 views enormous
The milestones are great. I love looking back and seeing how things have changed over time. I forgot the advice to write stuff down, until the day I reached 13,851. I have been keeping track of it ever since. I note my progress everyday. This makes comparisons interesting and quick.
Congratulations! Let's hope the views just keep pouring in.
I got my medal yesterday- and it really is a medal- just wish i could cut it out and pin it to my cardi!
I am chasing you Case1worker, one more week and I shall hit 10,000.
good luck - with any luck it wont be one week it will be five days!!
The thing is the next one is 100,000 which I fear may be a little way off- still traffic has just started to pick up after haloween so you never know
Congrats to you and I hope your traffic continues to grow!
thanks to all and i hope that not only does all our traffic grow but we get the clicks
thank you- finding time to write at the moment is a problem- mainly reading everyone else's hubs to relax which is a really good way

I usually don't post milestones in the forum, but wanted to share this one with you. Hopefully it will encourage others.I reached 100,000 views sometime in Sept or Oct., 2011 Yesterday or very early this morning I reached 200,000 views - I have 58 hubs.I was amazed to see how many views...

Well, not just today! I wish. But, today I will pass the 2,000,000 views milestone. It took awhile - helped by some popular hubs and hindered by the one that wants a good kicking as it's only had 34 views in the last 3 years!Website traffic really is an 80/20 situation, with 20%...

There's no badge for it, but I hit 5 million views slightly earlier than anticipated. I edited a ton of hubs a few months ago and it really boosted my traffic (plus the niche sites help!)Now on to 10 million views... that'll be how many years?

I'm so psyched, it took so long. I think I'll take a screen shot and frame it!

I realize that this number is not considered as particularly high especially after writing here for over a year and having close to 50 hubs. Yet I feel it is an accomplishment, at least for me. We all have to determine what makes us feel we have achieved something, independent from...

I'm finally soooo close to 5 million views that I can taste it! And it's taking long enough, haha!
