Ads were disabled on one of my hubs...

   I was earning tons of money from the hub.. then one day the ads were disabled. I checked the rules and I don't think I broke any. What do I do?

      You should contact HubPages to see why the ads were disabled. I don't know why they disable ads but if you want to know the specific reason you should ask them.

         If you are referring to your Hub about Miley Cyrus's recent transgressions, then Izzy is right on the money here.  Drug content is against AdSense's TOS.

      I have two hubs  (cervical & prostate cancer) that met the same fate as yours. I recently link it to HubPages Staff and just waiting for their decision to reconsider it. -_-

   I used to Hub about growing up knowing that I am transgender (transsexual), and having to hide it, and had the same problem.
   Eventually I gave up, shut that account, moved those writings elsewhere, and opened my current (and only) HP account.

      That can happen. It is a matter of extent ("excessive profanity"). Language could lead the automated filters to kick in and disable ads.

   Okay, just to clarify two things: salvia isn't illegal in the United States (although some states ban, others have laws prohibiting the sale to minors, and still others, just haven't weighed in on the issue.)  and furthermore, Miley was 18 when consuming this.
   
   But the hub is rather short, and now missing a video. I might elaborate on some finer points, perhaps explaining to the audience what the heck is going on, on-top of her actions presented in the video.
   
   Some people may not be too hip on salvia, where it comes from, etc. Just a little blurb expanding on this could add some more original content to your article and HubPages as a whole.

   I just published one today that had it's ads disabled as well. It's about a phytoestrogen for breast enhancement. I'm assuming that the word breast triggered the automated system to flag my hub. I just contacted hubpages to have it manually reviewed and the "ads disabled" removed because I honestly do not see where I'm in violation of any policies. Just waiting to see what they decide. No profanity, nude photos, or sexual nature to the hub.
