Does your Author Score affect the scores of your hubs?

   If my author score gets higher, will the scores of my hubs get higher?  Also, if my author score is higher at the time that I start my hub will that affect the scores of my hubs?

      No and no.
      
      Author score is based on the scores of your hubs as well as your interactions with the site. Hub scores are based on traffic and content etc.
      
      I wouldn't worry about your scores - they don't influence your traffic or earnings, but are instead an indication of them. I can't remember the last time I even noticed a hub's score.

      Don't worry about score. Just write good, quality hubs that are neat, proofread, and clearly written by someone who cares about or is truly knowledgeable about the subject. If you focus on that, your scores will take care of themselves.

   I have to agree with all the answers you have gotten so far. I have only be on Hubpages for 9 months and it took at least 4 months for me to figure out how valuable this community was. Ever since I have been writing on a regular basis and my author score fluctuates between 91 and 97. I try not to focus on it but I know when it starts sliding that I have not been to the forums lately. I think it also helps to participate in some of the contests when you can, they can be good for traffic, your author score and they can be a lot of fun.

      I appreciate the answers too. I have only been here a few weeks but my profile score dropped a few points and I about had a cow! Good to keep focus on writing! (I had gotten lazy about using "suggested links" though so I went back and did some.)

         I've been here 5 months now.i'm started with score of 30 and finally touch my highest score 91. And now dropped to 55. But i'm neglecting author score. But i know if my profile score become less than 75, my links will be no follow.

   I don't think so..Your hub score is based on the content value and your hubibity.But getting good score also make feel good

   I've only been on three weeks and I can tell you my author score is much highher than any of my hub scores.  if my hub scores were that high, I'd be thrilled!  But I don't think one has anything to do with the other.

   Mine jumps up and down within a range of 10 all the time.  I try not to worry about it.    One weird thing I noticed was I got 3 new followers overnight and my hubscore dropped 5 points.  I thought that was kind of weird.    But I'll take the new followers anyday.
