Hello all,
I started writing here on HubPages about two months ago and have since learned to do my keyword research first. My first 15 or so hubs were written without any sort of keyword or SEO optimization. That said, my latest hub I have tried to optimize my SEO, but since I'm still a total novice at this I was wondering if I could get a few opinions regarding the SEO optimization of this hub.
Here is the link:

Thank you so much for any input!
How did you get those lines in your title I use ; I would much rather the lines...
I don't think I can tell how your SEO goes from reading and sorry its not really a topic that I am very motivated read about at the moment... Apparently aged peices do well they say around 6 months I aren't there yet, but writing good quality peices and doing your key word research should pay off...
You should use your main keyword phrase within the title, url and one of the first two sentences.
Your writing is great, but on the internet you need to divide your work into more paragraphs then you would if publishing on paper. The reason is that it is harder to read long paragraphs online.
I expect you will do well in the future. Your subjects and writing are good. It takes some patience waiting for hubs to age and appear better on Google.
i see your hub and i notice some mistakes :
1- don't put "| " in your hub title , instead use "-" just once
2- you bold some general words a lot times , ( bold your long tail keyword just once )
3- your pictures not optimized , put your keyword under pictures
I wonder how those lines would be read. Ok, didn't mean to get hung up over the title. I think the title should be more natural so that when people search for the topic it would be a more direct way to your article, like How to use puts for long-term investment strategies, or something to that effect.
I just skim read it, but it looks fine to me. The real benefits will come with backlinking once you have the on page SEO perfected!
Outstanding except it's a good idea to just break the large paragraphs up some more as others suggested white space makes for better skimming or reading some other hubbers have talked about this more in detail. Other than that this hub will go just fine. The title ... Nice job !!!! Viewers searchers and google will love it!
5 Pointers
1. Shorten you paragraphs (no more than 3 - 5 sentences recommended)
2. I'm assuming "Long Put Strategy" is your primary keyword being that it appears about 10 times in your content? If so, then why isn't it in your tags.
3. Also, If that is your primary keyword then you lead with that keyword phrase in your title (or as close to the front as possible). Right now it at the end.
4) Another thing I'd recommend is adding some more tags overall (about a total of 30 keyword targeted tags would be cool).
5. oh yeah, and also add a news or RSS feed a the bottom of your hub. This gives your hub constantly updated content that makes the search engine spiders jump!
Your first paragraph is a bit long. The key phrase should be in the first few sentences. You also need to brush up on your grammar. For example, the word, 'an', precedes any word beginning with a vowel, not 'a.'
However, your level of grammar will not affect the browser finding your article. It will only affect your credibility if someone highly educated reads it.
In addition, cut out the fluff. Fluff comprises words like absolutly, simply, etc. Your writing needs to have a tight style for the web.

How Many visitors do you get in one day on your hubs if you have written approx 150?The reason why I ask is that I have seen so many people on the forums stating they have at least 1000 a day. This is fine but they only have 22 hubs! is it just me, or am I missing something? perhaps my hubs are...

Following my investigation into good SEO practice, I decided to write the title of my hubs as the first words in the hub summaries. So the summary would start with the title, followed by a hyphen (dash) and a brief description. I do this on almost all of my hubs, but I don't like doing it because...

Months ago, maybe over a year ago, I read a hub about how to write hubs that said to repeat the title of the hub in the heading of the Comments capsule. For instance, if the title is How to Make a Glumpf, then the heading of the Comments capsule should be How to Make a Glumpf: Comments. I have been...

SEO experts....How important is it that URL matches title keywords?I titled a hub, partially typed and saved it. Then I decided a different title would be more appropriate and changed it. I just realized the URL (in the address bar in the search engine) keeps the original title. So my URL does not...

Hello Everyone, I’m primarily a writer, not a computer buff or web-site designer and in my other attempts at on-line writing I haven’t been trying to earn money, so I haven’t bothered about gaining traffic. I’m patient, I’ve read it takes a while to build up earnings, but from what...
