Paypal is becoming problematic these days. I would be happy if HubPages would consider offering alternative payment methods other than paypal also. I am sure that there are many like me who would be happy if we get to choose from other payment modes also.
You're quite right, PayPal is becoming problematic especially for those of us outside the USA. But is there no other options?
This is a 7-year old thread.
And no, there is no other payment method unless you opt out of the HP ads program and select Adsense only. Then Google will pay direct into your bank account once your earnings hit $100/£60. Or whatever the amount is where you are.
Thanks but how do I opt out of HP ads program and select Adsense only
Go here: https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/
Then click on Configure next to the HP Ad program, and then on Deactivate.
I just deactivated it now. So what's next? Thanks.
I think HP knows about it from a great number of members who live outside the U.S. It seems to be a constant forum topic.
However, it's nice to see you in the forums. Been a while. Hope all is well.
Yeah dear... All is well. I don't prefer to chit chat on forums so I am not aware of who might have raised the topic. For Indians the limit on unverified accounts are $500 and verified accounts are $2500. So people who get paid from multiple sources could exceed the receiving limit. I really hope the HubPages Staff would look into the matter and come up with some other Payment Methods also.
Anamika, there are quiet a few threads on the same topic.. It would be great if you have this shifted to report a problem or give a suggestion... so admin can see the number of times this has been raised and the validity of your point.
I haven't seen a single person from admin address this issue thus far.. it is only hubbers who have answered these threads.
I truly hope they would look at this issue.
Hmm. I have an unpaid 171.97 USD. I expected to find this on my AdSense but none was found.
HP earnings do not transfer to Adsense, no. HP only pays through Paypal. This balance will remain here on HP until you are able to withdraw it through Paypal or one day in the future a new method is introduced which seems very unlikely.
That implies that HP does not want people from other countries apart from USA to receive their earnings. What 'nice' way to show integrity.
I'm not from the USA and I have no problem being paid through Paypal. Most of the world has no problems. Also, they are very upfront about their payment methods and that is why they say to use Adsense if you can't withdraw through Paypal.
It's not their fault if you did not do your homework over all these years.
I'm not in the US.
Maybe Paypal can't operate in your country because of regulations. You can't blame HubPages. They make it perfectly clear in the FAQs and ToS that writers need to have a PayPal account. If you went ahead and wrote a ton of articles without doing your basic research, then, I'm afraid that's your fault.
Apparently, this thread has been revived...lol. PayPal is the only format of payment that we will be using for now, and unfortunately, there are country restrictions via PayPal that we do not control.
Hmm. That's okay. I'll have to continue writing then and keep my eyes off the money. Lol.

Humbly, I want to ask this, I as a hubber have great passion for writing, I want to publish articles on hubpages and I want to earn from them, but the problem is that I don't have a credit card or any bank account, as far as I'm concerned, I don't have the ability to use PayPal. Why not add...

PayPal has been holding my money since March! It's more than 21 days and they haven't released it. I keep having this problem. Can hubpages look into other sites like Skrill and Payoneer? They are nice alternatives.

Not sure if I have the correct space or not. I was wondering if Hubpages uses another payment source/method other than PayPal. Some (man people actually) for one reason or a dozen do not like PayPal. I for one would like to get paid from my hubs but PayPal is blocking me because I...
