Squidoo Newbie Tips

Are you new to Squidoo? Are you totally lost as to what to do next? I can help. First... Take a deep breath. It is not as hard as it looks, as a matter of fact it is really easy once you see the steps to building a lens. A lens is what we call a webpage here at Squidoo. You will be building these lenses soon.

The first step is to take care of your profile first - so go over to your profile section and fill in your information. Tell us who you are and a little bit about yourself. Then upload a picture of yourself. We like to see who you are. If you are a little shy and don't want your picture - choose something you like and put it up. There is nothing worse than seeing the dreaded " Hello World, this is my bio"

Now, as you may or may not know already. Squidoo is a great website where you can build lenses about the things you love. You can write about what you are passionate about and make money too! Cool, Eh?

I make a good amount of money from Squidoo. But, I didn't start out that way ( due to my own ignorance) I didn't know how it all worked and didn't take the time to figure it out until about two years ago and things just kept getting better and better for me here at Squidoo. Here is more about my story... Elizabeth Lapenta - My Lensography

Next, you will want to start thinking about what you want to write about. If you are stumped about ideas here are some great ideas to get you started! 10 Great Squidoo Lens Ideas
