Do Clothes Define The Person?
Can you define a person by what's in their closet? Can you get any insights into a person's personality by what kind of clothing they wear? I've never actually thought that way. When I buy clothing it's so I can be comfortable without having to swap out my wardrobe every time the styles change. I choose to go with more traditional and "always in style" clothing, rather than trying to keep up with all the latest fashion trends.
What's In There?
My own style is comfortable and warm. My closet is full of soft sweaters, and many lined and unlined sweatshirts. You'll find a few blouses and skirts because I used to have to dress up for work. I don't anymore, but I keep the clothes just in case. Most of the time, you're going to find me running around in a pair of comfy jeans and sweater or sweatshirt.
For summer wear, I have a variety of shorts and t-shirts. You're not going to find anything too revealing though. At my age, that would just be silly. I don't wear shorts unless it's very very hot and humid, so mostly you're going to see me in a t-shirt and jeans, or a cute little tank top and jeans.
As for shoes, I have lots and lots of black shoes. Black goes with everything. You won't find any sandals either. You'll find slip-ons, tennis shoes, and boots, both short and tall. I have a couple of pairs of heels, but I only pull those out on very special occasions.
That's it. I don't know what that says about me personally, but I like my choices and I don't really care what anyone else thinks.
