My Favorite Lenses On Squidoo
There are lenses that I like...and then there are lenses that I really, really like!
I've been on Squidoo for some 8 or 9 months now and when I cannot write lenses all the time, I do take the time to browse Squidoo for other lenses on various topics of interest. I find that many Lensmasters create really great lenses and can make any topic a lot more interesting.
For example, I hate spiders and have an irrational fear of these creatures. But I stumbled upon this lens about spiders which I actually, to my own surprise, found quite interesting. It's called Mammoth Spiders and written by Lensmaster voodoomama. I gotta give it to her, the pictures are really creepy and the critters seem to jump out at me, but I enjoyed the stories about spider gods.
So since the time I became a Lensmaster, I have seen hundreds of lenses and most of them I enjoyed reading. There are some however that really stood out and that is perhaps because they discussed a topic I was interested in really well or they have imparted highly useful advice or tips or they simply tugged at the heart. A few weeks ago I started noting lenses that really stood out for me, because an idea has started to form in my mind then. I would create a lens that features my favorite lenses on Squidoo as some sort of a tribute and a way to thank these Lensmaster that have shared really outstanding lenses to us. That idea persisted and so now, I think I have enough lenses to start a lensography with. Of course this will be an ongoing lens so updates will be added from time to time.
Squidoo Success Tips
I just want to point out that the lenses I included here were selected personally and they did not go through any screening whatsoever. I do not personally know any of the Lensmasters whose work I featured here. ^_^
