My First Squidoo Payout

Updated on May 21, 2013

My Story

I am lensmaster MarcGuberti, and I love using Squidoo to share my content as well as to donate to charity. I have been on Squidoo for about 3 months now, and as I learn new information about Squidoo and create more lenses, I just become an even bigger Squidoo addict. I started using Squidoo in February, so I got my first payment in May. This lens is all about my first payout.

One Of The Highest First Payouts In History

On Squidoo

On Squidoo, I read a lot about lenses based on how much people earned on Squidoo. I was shocked to know that some people make thousands of dollars a month on Squidoo, and I was even more fascinated that they started with a first payout no more than $15. However, I started on February 14, 2012, so I had a lot of time to make my lenses good for March. I ended up making over $30, and some of my earnings went to charity. When I logged in to my Paypal account to see my earnings, I was amazed that they were there. I had never made money on Squidoo until that payout, so it was a great moment to earn money online for the first time. I have a Tier 1 lens right now, and I had in April, so my payouts will get bigger and bigger. I am so excited to see what is still to come.

Amazon Sales Have Been Very Helpful

Out of the $30 that I earned, about $8 came from Amazon sales, and I still have $25 in sales waiting for me. Amazon sales have been really helpful, and I am devising new ways everyday to try to get another sale. Most of my sales come from my Lego Station lens, but if you want to learn a good method for making sales with Amazon (or eBay), you can go right here.

It take 2 months before you make your first payout, and you still have to pass your threshold in order to make some money. I would set the threshold at $1 if you are just beginning so that you know that you are getting money from Squidoo.

Charity Is Important

At first, I didn't want to give my earnings to charity, but I am glad that I changed my mind. I have some of my best lenses donating to charity, and I want to eventually have all of my lenses donate to charity as well. I mainly donate to the Squidoo Charity fund and the ASPCA because I love animals.

Giant Squid

May 23, 2012

I am happy to announce that less than a week ago, I became a Giant Squid. I have been recognized as a high quality lensmaster, and I have been inspired to create even more lenses. In the summer, I could do 10 lenses a week with all of that extra time. I am so excited to be a Giant Squid.
