Pictures for Backgrounds in Squidoo Lenses

Updated on June 17, 2014

I need these pictures on line

So I'm starting this lens and publishing it now. If you have fallen upon it, please be patient. It will develope and it will grow. I'm trying out background images along the lines of Sojourn's lens HTML for Backgrounds (an excellent article unfortunately unpublished by Squidoo) for my list of lenses blessed by angels.

Do come back a bit later and see what else is here. In the meantime, feel free to use these pictures, but I'd be pleased to receive credit and link!

Singing the blues

Well, I sing the praises of Limousin, but it isn't always go gorgeous. These pictures were taken on 14th October 2011 as backgrounds for the heavenly hosts. I'll add a few sunrises, sunsets and some amazing electric storms, like this one, when I have a moment.

The sunsets and skies are just beautiful. It reminds me of a place where I used to live.

I sure do love sunsets and sunrises for use as backgrounds.

Many thanks for these words of encouragement, Tony. I was experimenting a bit having found Erica Stones lens. I am an hmtl debutant. Really though, I'm a pretty spartan writer and just like fairly simple, easy to read text and neat photos! (Sooooo boring). Thanks for your fading tip too. I'll have a little fiddle with that.

Great idea for a lens. I don't use image backgrounds a lot for my lenses, but often when I do I find a good trick can be to fade the colour out of the background so it doesn't detract from the text. You have a good selection of images here, gives me some ideas. Blessed.

@SaintFrantic: Thank you so much SaintFrantic. It is a bit of an odd one. I've filled up my Flickr quota and needed on-line images to upload into a lens - fast!! I couldn't think of anything better than putting them on a lens. Now I have done it I think that skies and angels are an attractive combination, but i don't expect many visitors!
