I've been using borders for most of my new lenses. The one I like best currently uses a Squidoo CSS class to produce thin silver borders. Cuts down the amount of CSS coding you need just to produce the same effect.

Yes i really like lenses like this i know that sounds like im lazy not to figure it out myself but i been on here over 3 years and some just do not stick in this brain of mine.

There is another lens that has from top to bottom of codes done up just like this. I'm keeping this one and if anyone knows the other one im talking about please write me with the lens name.

You did a great job on your lens and thank you for making this coding much easier.

Its always handy to have these tips. I am relatively familiar both with squidoo's limitations and CSS, but this is a good set of templates for those not so familiar. It could perhaps do with some explanation of what the bits mean (even as another lens) so newbies can understand what those tags and attributes actually are, and then compose their own styles.

    • profile image

      dannystaple 5 years ago

@HTCEVO4g: You can't really without changing the lens theme. You can only use html styles for content inside the modules main text areas - and even then those are limited to some degree in terms of which tags and attributes you are allowed.

    • profile image

      HTCEVO4g 5 years ago

      I have question,How can I put a color for text module's title?

@AliciaMae: There are always little things in HTML that a veteran user might forget what us newbies won't know. However, if your's is not working, remember to put your text into the >...< area of each box shown here! Hope I helped!

Awesome! I have seen a lot of HTML for Squidoo, They are good, however, most show just ONE piece of code for the border or center text, not the whole code info and order that you have presented! Thanks for your hard work! Very appreciated. Blessed!
