Do You Know Much About Tiffany?
I'd be happy to share with you!
"After reading some of Tiffany's lenses, I was intrigued by her writing style and knowledge. And then, I realized, I wanted to know more about her. I scrolled through her list of lenses, and couldn't find any 'About Me' lenses, so decided to gift this to her."
Thank you for the gift lens AllyVuitton
It all began....
...with a mother and father who thought the best date to be married was Friday, the 13th. They ended up with 3 boys and 3 girls (I'm somewhere in the middle there), and have been together for 31 years. So much for the 13th being bad luck, eh?
I grew up in a small town nearby the famous Sand Dunes in Idaho. It's a wonderful place where you can go four-wheeling, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and roast hot dogs by the fire. That's what I did most of my growing up years. Learn more at VisitIdaho.org
Life was simple.
At the age of 19, I married my high school sweetheart. We were young, naive, and definitely not ready to grow up. A year after our marriage, a little boy, Quentin, was born. I soon realized that I was doing all the growing up and he couldn't handle it. Two months after the birth of our son, we got a divorce. I was a single mom for the first two years of his life. Until I met James.

"Yours, Mine, and Ours"
James and I were set up on a blind date, set up by my sister and my brother-in-law. (P.S. Thanks guys!) He had two daughters of his own and a divorce under his belt, and so we had a lot in common. We hit it off right away and were pretty much inseperable since the first date. We would go fishing, I'd watch his football games, we would spend time with our kids, and everything just felt right.
We got married about a year later and combined our 3 kids into one family. Together we have 2 daughters (10 & 3), and 2 sons (5 & 11 months).
When we met, James had graduated from Oklahoma State University James and I have a lot of things in common. One of which is our choice in education.
with a B.S. in Education and was planning on completing his Master's in Social Work. I was attending BYU-I as a Psychology major. It's been fun to argue about what's better, social work or psychology. Maybe I'll have to do a lens on it! Anywhoo.... we were both attending school for the first two years of our marriage. I wouldn't recommend it! It's really hard to juggle two school schedules, a full-time job, and a combined family. I want to pull my hair out just thinking about it!
I am planning on completing a Master's program, possibly a Doctorates, and obtaining a license to do therapy. Right now, my heart is set on School Psychology. I really feel like I can do some good in the school systems.

I began Squidoo as a New Years Resolution to try something new.
I've really enjoyed the community feeling of Squidoo and the ability to use my creative side.
I imagine that most of my lenses will be about family life, parenting, and relationships. But I'm sure that a few odd ducks will venture their way in their... for example 101 Funny Words to Say
Another New Years Resolution was to become more confident
One of the things my husband says to try is to sing in public.... I don't know how well that's going to work out!
We like to sing in our family....not very well, mind you!
