ToTheBrimm - Voyeur or Exhibitionist?

Updated on March 6, 2014

A Peek at ToTheBrimm

In the broadest of terms, the members of the Internet Community are of two types: Exhibitionists or Voyeurs.

I tend to be a private person by nature, scouring the web to satisfy my desire-of-the-moment and moving on, leaving behind nothing more than a "page view" as a footprint. I am by nature an Internet Voyeur... but I'm trying to change.

The Internet wouldn't be much fun, or of much use, without Internet Exhibitionists. In the interest of maintaining some semblance of balance, I offer this lens to the Internet Community.

A peek into the world of ToTheBrimm.

Brimmer Family History

Hans Jurig Brimmer was born in Pfalzer, Germany in 1706.

As part of the Palatines Immigration, he boarded a ship named Hope and arrived in the United States in 1733. Upon arriving in Philadelphia (Ellis Island wouldn't be established as the first Federal Immigration station for another 155 years), Hans assumed the name John George Brimmer and founded what is now known as Berlin, NY. Many Brimmers still live in this area.

Some of John Brimmer's children moved to New Holland, PA in what is now known as Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

Nazareth, PA

When I was a boy, my family left Pennsylvania Dutch country and moved to a tiny borough outside of Nazareth, PA.

And as an adult, I moved to Florida.

- God created us.

- We all sin.

- We deserve punishment (If we break man's law we are sentenced to jail; when we break God's law we are sentenced to damnation).

- God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us. Jesus redeemed us by paying the price that we couldn't pay ourselves.

A: Admit that you're a sinner

B: Believe that Jesus is God and that He has the desire and power to redeem you.

C: Claim Jesus as Saviour and Lord of your life.

I like your exhibitionist/voyeur theory. I guess I'm a voyeur with exhibitionist tendencies -- otherwise, why make all these Squidoo pages? I DO want people to read my pages, after all! The B & J graveyard makes me smile. And I like that you incorporated bit of history and genealogy as well. Blessed

I've been an internet exhibitionist "to the brim" since rejoining squidoo. I've always been an all or nothing type- not much in the way of gray areas for me. Nice to know some more about you -:)

Great progress in a short time-frame. Nice to get to know a little about you (I read the bottom part about your life's story too). All the best as you continue your journey here on Squidoo and in life. God bless you and your family! :)
