BY A CALM BAY INLET CREEK
Poem Inspired by the Marine Park Salt Marsh Preserve, Brooklyn, New York City, USA
By a calm Inlet creek
where cormorants
and killdeer go
a lone black skimmer breaks
the waters edge
this is where I go
where all is tuned
to the hush of the sea
amid natures insect & avian
grand symphony
the sound is so alive
as it comes from everywhere
where else would you guess
but to find me here.
