Aliens: A Hoax or a Reality?
Do You Believe in the Existence of Aliens?
Do humans live alone in the universe? This is one of the oldest questions that mankind has sought to answer over the course of human history. Science-Fiction movies and novels have created elaborate and extremely detailed universes where different species of beings live with each other. Our imagination and curiosity become piqued when we start to wonder whether Aliens do actually exist. We know that our planet is but one of nine in our solar system and that solar system is but one of many in the galaxy. Technically speaking there is no reason why Aliens couldn't exist. Unless there is overwhelming evidence suggesting that Aliens actually do not exist only then could someone vehemently deny their existence. However, since we live in such a big universe there is tendency to wonder if there is any life that exist outside the earth. If you look up to the stars at night you will see that there are an innumerable amount and yet how do you know that all of them are actually stars. In most cases the visible stars are actually so far away that what we are actually seeing is an afterimage of a star that used to burn brightly. The sheer depth of space is so vast that the light from the star that has already burned out is still traveling through space, making it look as if the star was still shining. The point being that there is only so much that is visible to our eyes. How many secrets are there in the universe that are hidden from our eyes? How far would we have to travel into space in order to find living breathing aliens? If aliens do exist then we have to come to terms with the idea that we humans may not be at the top of the evolutionary food chain.
The Existence of Aliens Could Shake up a Lot of People's Beliefs Systems
Would God Create Aliens?
Whether you believe in a God that created the universe or not, the existence of aliens throws wrench in many creation mythologies. Interestingly enough, there aren't many mainstream religions that teach about the existence of aliens. For whatever reason most mainstream religions mostly focus on the deity that created the universe, the philosophy of the religion itself, and how it all relates to the people of that religion. But never about aliens! Does extraterrestrial life somehow threaten the legitimacy of religion? In every creation mythology humans seem to have a primary role in the cosmic scheme of things but, would our status be reduced to if aliens do exist? Maybe the thought of aliens is terrifying because it leads us to question where would we humans rank in the food chain?
Food For Thought or Are we Alien Food?
If They Live, Then Houston we Could Have Some Problems
There are too many unanswered questions as it pertains to the existence of aliens. For example, if aliens do exist, how intelligent are they? What kind of technology do they possess. How many different species of aliens exist? What kind of food do they eat?! There is no real way to know for sure but the possibility that we are not the strongest in the food chain sounds really alarming. Who wants to live in a universe where they are not the most dominant species? What if we already do? Hypothetically speaking, lets say there are tons of aliens in the universe and the earth was at risk of being invaded. Would people start acting more kindly to one another? Suddenly the differences between most humans wouldn't seem so significant. This article poses many questions because at this point asking questions is all we can do to satisfy any curiosity we might have about the existence of aliens.
We Have to be More Humble When we Look up at the Night Sky
In our humdrum existence we can lose sight of the vastness that we are actually apart of. We can get lost in the thought of how much could potentially exist in outer space. But why don't we do it more often? Maybe because it takes us away from being at the center of the universe. Its shocking to think that maybe we are not alone and that we could potentially be inferior to another species. The thought of aliens petrifies most humans deep down to the core because we are confronted with just how human we really are.
