The moon gave us life if the scientists are correct. if the earth had no moon the earth would not rotate and life would not exist. The moon does affect us all, hospitals are more active on a full moon.

I looked at the moon that night and thought it was so beautiful. I know the moon affects the tides and when I worked in the hospital it always seemed crazier when there was a full moon. Cheers.

Hi Kid, if it's closer to the Earth than usual, its gravitational effects will be greater, the tides will be (slightly) higher and lower, and my damn' little yacht will drag on the bottom on spring low tonight. BUGGER!!

Other than that, lunacy is usually at its peak two to three days after full moon, watch out for Gods blessed.

      Cheers,

      TOF

From our perspective, it looks that way - we're seeing the sunlight reflecting off the entire face of the moon instead of just part of it. That doesn't mean it's "giving off more energy," it always reflects the same amount of sunlight. We just see it differently during different phases.

@scottcgruber Wow, that sucks, thanks, I thought all full moons gave off more energy then another moon phase?

No, the moon won't be giving off any extra energy on the 5th - it will be reflecting the same amount of sunlight it always does. It just happens that its perigee is occurring during the full moon, so it will look a tiny bit bigger and be a tiny bit brighter for observers from Earth. Apart from giving us some nice photo opportunities, it will have no effect on us whatsoever.

@Againsttheodds I appreciate your comment, I've never heard that theory I have to look into it, I do know of David Icke, I really hope its not a date for people to do evil, I know the moon gives off great energy and when its this big it can pull things your way faster, I'm all about love and light, and that is what I will be mediating on May 5th.

You seem to believe that the energy the moon gives off is a welcome and good force. David Icke believes that the hollow moon is part of a moon matrix where electromagnetic waves are sent down to control humans and keep them at the level of 5 senses and from exploring the true reality. A close moon will be an even better chance for these powerful waves to cinch their hold. So who built the moon? Science fiction.. you decide, but do so with investigation. It could also be a significant date for those wishing to do evil on Earth. Things just might get interesting.
