Being a Victim of Bullying
Bullying was always a problem. As time goes on it is getting worse and worse. Now it is even becomming a crime in some parts of the world. Some kids who are bullied are turning towards violence and even worse hurting themselves because they cannot deal with the pain anymore.
People say to ignore being bullied but you cannot. In fact that is one thing that you definitly should not do.
Bullying does have long term effects. It is even a form of abuse. While some people may take it lightly, that in fact is not something that should be taken lightly.
If you are a victim of bullying try going to someone for help. Go to a guidence counsler or a school psychologist to try to help you during this tough time. Do not keep it all in because if you do it will all bottle up and then lead to something bad. Tell someone who could put a stop to it even if you cannot.
If you have one good friend consider yourself lucky. It is true that one good friend could make up for a billion fake ones. Have a good friend who will help you through this. Talk to them about it and if you feel that you do not want to make a big issue go to a trusted adult. Being bullied is nothing to be ashamed about is is something to be stopped.
Know that what you are going through now will pass. Nothing in life is forever. Every one goes through times at least once in their life. If you are getting bullied than this is your tough time. Pray to God if you are religious and no matter how hard it is try to hold your head up high. Do not let them bring you down.
As hard as it is try to be positive. Listen to inspirational music or join a support group where there are other people who have suffered from bullying. Whatever you do know that you are not alone. Try to get help before it is too late.
Every person in this world has amazing things to offer someone and the whole world. Do not let these people get in the way of your destiny. Some people leave and just because you have a bully in your life now does not mean that they will always be there. There are good people in this world and eventually one day you will meet the people who love you and want to see you happy and not fail.
The more you do not do anything about abuse the worse it gets. Sooner or later, even when the bullies are gone you will suffer from the wounds of being a victim of bullying. You will suffer low self esteem and feel worthless. You will even suffer from depression.
Do not let this be you. Take a stand and be brave. Do not do anything major or drastic. Know your self worth and be the best you could be. Think of all of the amazing qualiaties that you have to offer to the world.
If you see someone getting bullied do something about it. Tell someone before it is too late. Try going over to the victim who is bullied and stick up for that person. If you are scared to do that than talk to them when they are alone. Try being their friend. RIght now that victim needs a good friend to help them through this tough time.
If you are the one who is doing the bullying than stop it. Bullying once again has serious consequences. Put yourself in the victims shoes. How would you like it if you were the one being bullied? How would you feel if you were constantly getting made fun and felt as if the whole world was against you? Do not try to be funny at the expense of someone else.
If you put a stop to bullying today you could save a life. Life is too short for there to be anger and depression. Be the person that puts a smile on someones face and shows them that there are good people in this world.
