Brightly Beaming Preschool Homeschooling

Brightly Beaming Resources – Katrina Lybbert has created an incredible resource for homeschooling parents.  The preschool homeschooling curriculum she offers consists of two separate complete curriculums; preparatory curriculum and letter of the week.  Each one provides an outline, teaching concepts, and daily planning tips.  These two preschool homeschooling programs are extremely well thought out and everything is set up for the parent to print, file, and start teaching.

MSU Preschool Early Learning

Mississippi State University Early Learning – MSU has created a complete curriculum for both three year olds and four year olds. Developed by the MSU Early Childhood Institute, each program is complete with 12 monthly themes, activities, and a daily schedule. Goals are outlined for the teacher or parent, weekly lesson plans are given, as well as teaching tips and even song lyrics.

Preschool Homeschooling Lesson PlanZ

Lesson PlanZ – Part of the A to Z Teacher Stuff Network, this site offers activities by subject matter and theme for preschoolers. Although not an entire preschool homeschooling curriculum, this site deserves mention due to the amount of helpful information that can be incorporated with the three programs above.

Many parents struggle with the decision to send their children to preschool.  Is it really needed?  Although, the decision is still out for the answer to this question, many people just cannot afford to send their children to preschool, especially if one parent is already home.  There is no doubt that the preschool years are a time when most children seem to be the most curious about everything around them.  If a parent is home with their child during these years, incorporating learning into their daily play is a fantastic way of satisfying that curiosity.  With the free preschool homeschooling curriculums above, the preschooler in the house will be learning in no time.
