The Holy Spirit searches the heart and the soul, where no evil may hide, that truth in God's words may set all free
"Anything that veers us away from the words of God in Jesus, from the love of God, from the love of others, and from the respect of life is not of Jesus."

New Age "Law of Attraction" found not compatible with Catholic and Christian teaching, with Sharon Lee Giganti.
Sharon Lee Giganti. Apologetics speaker, short bio with 3 interesting and very revealing video's in support of what is of Christ.
New Age Deception as revealed by Sharon Lee Giganti
"There is nothing wrong with 'the Law of Attraction' as it is the law of nature where positive vibrations produce positive results."
But according to Sharon Lee Giganti, and in a serious tone, there is, as it can be can be seen in her great passion to denounce the practices of the New Age Movement since she started having disillusionment of the movement in 1999 because of practices which she felt were not of Christ Jesus.
As a brief backgrounder, for those who may not know Sharon Lee, she was a former beauty titlist as Miss San Diego County and 'runner-up to Miss California,' a former movie and television actress she later realized the movie industry was not for her and she had another calling to serve the Lord.
She admits of her past mistakes in her decisions in life especially when she joined the New Age Movement.
She came to realize how she was made to believe in supporting 'taking of one's life' to, perhaps, escape one's emotional problems in this life.
And in her experience in the movement, it made her feel the guilt of the different practices which were in contradiction to God's words of 'love for life and of others,' and Christ's teachings against witchcraft, false claims about relating their beliefs to that of Abraham, luring Christians and Catholics into believing on 'New Thoughts' which are allegedly of God, and unfortunately along the way, she has in fact seen many tragedies happen in her life and in other believers' lives as well as they continued supporting this movement.

Interestingly, Oprah Winfrey is one of the main supporters and an avid promoter of this movement. Wow!?
In deep prayer through the Holy Spirit, may we see what is true in God's words. Taking one's life is against the sixth commandment of the Lord which is "Thou shalt not kill (murder)," which comes next to the fifth, "Honor your father and your mother," both next to the first four commandments of loving and worshiping our One True God, which is more emphasized as embodied in the Holy Trinity which is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
And for those who have heard about Brazil's "John of God," (Kiran Schmidt in real life) an alleged spirit medium and spiritual healer who goes in a trance, seemingly possessed by spirits he claims to empower him to do miracles, as expounded by Sharon Lee on the YouTube video below, these are seen as something influenced by evil and sorcery, encouraging idolatry, as in 2 Chronicles 33:6:
"He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger."
Manasseh, in 2 Chronicles Chapter 33, was the reigning king at that time who did this. And he was only 12 when he was crowned king. He succeeded his father, Hezekiah as King of Judah, as in 2 Chronicles Chapter 32, who found humility to God as his best legacy after learning during his reign that arrogance was not pleasing the Lord.
Sad to know Manasseh was opposite his father as he subjected himself to the worship of other gods that he even immolated his two sons who suffered death by fire and was influenced by soothsaying, consulting ghosts and spirits along the way which was not of God.
'False Prophets' can always thrive, in the guise of good and worthy causes helping people physically and materially in this life, but the love of God in Jesus should come hand in hand in this life, above all things material and but passing in this life.
Whatever past spirits one may claim to source his power from in healing people and getting well or energy from is something that should alarm our faith deep in our conscience.
Is this coming from the Holy Spirit guiding us towards the truth in Jesus, or the evil one veering us away from the absolute truth in Christ our true Lord and Master, being the true Redeemer and Messiah?
If this comes from the Holy Spirit, then it should lead us to the light of Christ in our faith who personifies the truth in God and about God?
If it points to tolerance to doing and accepting what other faith and beliefs tell us to do and accept, beliefs which have distorted accounts of truth about our true Messiah in Jesus, our True Healer and Master, then again, are these not veering us away from what is true and pleasing to God and because of our hardened hearts and spirit, we prefer to be ruled by our minds and intellect rather than listen to the prodding of the Holy Spirit?
Having said all these, all good things come from God including healing from the Holy Spirit. If this, we believe, comes from God in Jesus, the more we should heed His call to go back to Him and keep His words, right, instead of being attracted to other beliefs and remain lost and confused?
"Not all may believe in this as they may believe more on what is convenient, what is acceptable in this worldly life and choose material things above spiritual truths in Jesus.
Anyone who may subscribe to this belief is bound to be lost but anyone who loves God in Jesus more than material or worldly things in this life, and would rather use material things and blessings for the love of God and others, will be guided onto the lighted path forever."
Sharon makes us aware how hypnotism can become influential in changing our values and perhaps, even in our perception of what is true in the words of God as hypnotism may leave an indelible mark in our hearts and spirit, which may only be totally wiped out through constant prayers and total surrender of all that is evil and that which is not of God in us, sincerely leaving all these at the foot of Christ's cross through in our prayers, and cleansed by his most precious blood.
This includes psychics and mediums as in Leviticus 20:27:
""'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.'"
However horrifying this verse may be, it is in the Holy Spirit that we may be better guided to enlighten, rather than judge.
With Christ's death and resurrection, the forgiveness of sins in His light of truth and love further frees us from the bondage of evil, that by His grace in baptism and renewal in spirit through conversion and as we may arise from being lost in darkness to being born again, coupled with faith and good deeds, trusting Him more in His words and letting go in avoidance of all evil practices and superstitions, all these help strengthen our spirit against all evil in this life.
"No Virginia, you do not have to join other religions just to be 'born again.'"
The grace that you receive in baptism and in your 'confirmation' as a Catholic Christian, as you may express your disdain of evil in the rejection of Satan, may not be enough, it is in one's heartfelt willingness to further strengthen himself in spirit by attending charismatic renewal movements with continuing education seen important in reviving and renewing his faith and in growth in the spirit, in involving himself in church or community outreach programs aside from attending weekly masses and holy days of obligation, doing confession to a priest and feel God's loving presence in one's renewal, praying for and helping in ways to uplift the poor, equipping himself with or sharing the power in God's words in bible studies, doing charity and volunteer work in marriage and other religious encounters, doing or helping teach religious education on free time, visiting the sick or helping pray for them, doing novenas in pious devotion or faithful prayer of intercession with the Blessed Mother, the saints and the holy ones who are very much alive forever in Christ, and other programs and activities in the love of God and concern of others out of one's own heartfelt initiative and own selfless endeavor, service and motivation, in all these, may one see and feel God's blessings and presence in his life and that of his family, for in all good deeds, God repays in abundance in one's lifetime and in the next generations as God's truth and God's love is passed on in faithful abidance and obedience to Christ.
All these sums up to love of God and love of others, as Christ has taught us, that in God's words, we may help enlighten to what is eternally true.
Nevertheless, however religious or devout one is in his or her faith, without his or her love for God in Christ and his or her love of others, he or she may not be deserving or worthy of Christ's love.
May the Holy Spirit help mold him in the Spirit of God, that he may love and forgives and help spread the gospel of truth to others that more may be saved from the dangers of 'idolatry' in evil deceptions.
As in Matthew 10:37 (source: biblehub.com,NIV), Jesus said, "Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
Basically, Jesus wants us to love one another, where good deeds and love to others.
As in Galatians 5:14 (same as above source), "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
And Saint Paul further qualified the verse above, in Galatians 5:16-18 (source: usccb.org,bible), he wrote, "I say, then: live by the Spirit and you will certainly not gratify the desire of the flesh. For the flesh has desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you may not do what you want. But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law."
Living in the Spirit in Christ make us above the fullness of the law of God, for you have fulfilled loving others in your spirit of truth, connecting to the Spirit of God.
Loving one another may very well lead you to what is noble and right, but in truth, it is the Spirit of God in Christ that leads us to believe and live again ever after mortal death.
Jesus may judge us every time in every activity we may undertake, remaining in his words, the more, we are duly guided by the Holy Spirit, the more we may be cleansed by his blood as we may truly repent of our sins.
The closer we are to him, living by his grace, duly baptized, the more we see the wisdom of dying with him in baptism, where in our spirit, we may see his greater truth as we live in the Spirit.
in Galatians 5:19-26 (same source above), Saint Paul enumerates to us evils in the flesh, that we may be guided to rebuke against, as we may live in the spirit:
19 "Now the works of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, licentiousness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions,
21 occasions of envy,* drinking bouts, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 Now those who belong to Christ [Jesus] have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit.
26 Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envious of one another."
In all these, the Holy Spirit leads us to remain in Christ that we may stay guided in his flock with his words, in the truth of our spirit.
Life is important for God and for others, as it is important to us, that we may continue to love one another and be willing instruments of spreading the gospel of Christ.
May we always be reminded that all good things come from God in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit - the Blessed and Holy Trinity in the Three in One God - all others, be they saints, the Blessed Mother, religious icons, statues or images, living healers, ministers, priests or pastors of faith in Christ and the Holy Spirit, in whatever material form or state, visions, dreams or not, all these are vessels and instruments of God's power and greatness, never to be worshiped, rather, be revered to, honored and respected especially when we know that their purpose is to bring us closer to Christ in this life.
While God in Jesus loves all of us, He wants us to stay better protected and guided in His light of truth and love.
And every intrument of God may as well encourage others to pray for discernment through the Holy Spirit and guide people who may believe in evil deceptions since these practices, sad to say, have mostly, if not all, been accepted in our society and are legally practicing their crafts as a form of livelihood, the same way that prostitution, abortion and tattoos or body piercings, and other, otherwise, so called 'evil practices' as stated in the bible, have been accepted and legalized in America and in many parts of the world for whatever material and economic contributions they may have been of use in society, as supported by constitutional by-laws created by man and politics in government.
These things being considered as realities in the present times, let us hope and pray that we may, nevertheless, hold on to following truths as we may ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and enlightenment in this life for us and for others:
- we have all been created by God in his image and likeness, and in our body is the 'sacred temple of God,' as in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, therefore, we have to trust God in Jesus as we may offer all good things that we do for God's greater glory;
- superstitious beliefs are of evil, and no evil is mightier than the words of God in Christ Jesus; and the bible tells us not to believe in astrology, as in Deutoronomy 4:19 and in 1 Peter 5:8; and believing in superstitions may bring you closer to what is of evil as to deny the words of God, instead of to what is of God in Jesus;
- tattoos and body piercing are not of God but of sorcery and evil, as in verses on this link: "Tattoos and the Bible."
Let us pray that we be guided, again, by the Holy Spirit, and for all those who are in this New Age Movement, that they may see the light of Christ as opposed to what may be evil in their practices specially in the belief of 'positive attractions' more than in the words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who, through Him we were all created, and therefore, loves us all, and who wants us to renew and return to His flock that all who may believe in Him and trust in Him may be saved.
And those who may now or may soon realize of this greater truth, in the humility of their hearts and souls to Christ, about true faith in Christ Jesus and the healing light that comes from a strong spirit in the Spirit of Christ, there is always hope in the forgiveness of sins, in God's everlasting love and mercy upon us all.
Blessings to all that more may see hope and forgiveness in the unifying and healing light of truth in Christ Jesus, who is above all things, for He was, He is and will always be, our Lord and Savior, our Master and our King, our All in All.
Hallelujah to the Lamb!
