A lot of schools in poor communities are experiencing health problems? head aches, asthma and vomiting are some of the problems that children and teachers are experiencing.

There has been inspections of some Boston Schools with a high risk of asthma noted because of the conditions in old building. 85% of Boston schools has leaks and water strain. 63% reported Mold that can be seen. There are about 85% to 83% that has been reported that repairs are needed and 61% reported the use of improper chemical.

The problems environment in the schools may not be responsible for the high level rate for asthma, but it can trigger to the problem when mold and pest aggravates children who already dealing with asthma.This problem can cause children absentee from school, treating there health and safety.

In poor communities schools are old and run-down because of the conditions teachers and children are at a greater risk, to these medical conditions.Boston Urban Asthma Coalitions is a committee with parents and school staff and communities who is looking for a way to improve the conditions of our schools.Members promotes a criteria for building for keeping our school healthy. We have to find more funding, use less chemical in our schools, and make repair of things that need to be fixed.City and states leaders have to get involve for the health of our children.
