Different Types of Cockroaches

There are a number of different types of cockroaches that live around the world. Some you would have come across before while others are less noticed. Let us find out more about the different types of cockroaches.

American Cockroach

The American cockroach is the largest type of cockroach that can be found at home. Their appearance includes a reddish brown oval shaped body with six legs and wings. However, all cockroaches grow their wings when they reach adulthood. The American cockroach also consists a diet of nearly anything from plants to insects

The American cockroach is found around warm, dark and damp areas if not wet. Sewers, basements and near pipes are the most ideal places to find this creepy crawlies.
