I grew up in a small town called Whitesburg Georgia. As a poor Woodard girl, I had to make my own living and opportunity.

Learning Starts with Toddlers

Nursery rhymes set to music aid in a child's development. Research also supports the assertion that music and rhyme increase a child's ability in reasoning, which supports mathematics skills.

I think most children have a feeling for rhythm in words and music.

Children Will Pay It Forward

When you invest in education and well being, children will pay it forward. Being equipped with knowledge and confidence; they will grow up to lead healthier, more productive lives.

Education is the road that children follow to reach their full potential in life, which permits each one to receive learning, instruction, and blossom.

Nutrition Is A Factor

Q: What do toddlers need iron for?

A: Iron is an important nutrient, no matter how old you are. Iron is an essential part of hemoglobin, which is the primary transporter of oxygen in the red blood cell. Iron is important for psychomotor and mental development in infants and children.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.

— Martin Luther King, Jr.

Educational Quotes From Friends

"One with an education can create his/her job. Even those with special skills/services (painters, plumbers, inventors, etc.) have to have the education to be successful." Rosa's Concepts

"Education is more than a resume builder. It is essential to your life. It doesn't have to be formal though." Jeremy Crowder

"Rosa, because of your children's college degree, they will not be passed over for promotions; they will be able to move into higher paying jobs as their careers progress. I have been in the corporate world for over 20 years and education matters now more than ever.People will have NO chance without an education. Now even trade ( electrician, plumber, etc..) requires post-secondary education. The other part is the removal of ignorance. Education has been the foundation of our freedom. Educated people cannot be controlled as easily and therefore, in the long run, we all progress as a society. So I agree, our countries, state, towns focus must be on educating our children." Lisa Moore

I salute you, Rosa, I know first hand what you went through! The fact that you have accomplished what you have is remarkable! Your experience a 1000s more that I, personally, know about including my own are. All the more reason that I will fight to protect the opportunity for every person in our great Nation to be able to get an education! We Need to improve our school system but to defund and destroy it is not the answer. We still do the best job at educating our entire population of any nation in the history! And I want you to know that LaNelle and I Are very proud of what you have accomplished!! Perry Holland

"GED classes offered everywhere, and it's free. If each community worked together with free child care, it would give more parents a chance for a better education." Tiffany Roberts

"Education is important; there’s no denying that fact. For the most part, the more schooling you receive, the more successful you will be in your chosen path. In general, people who drop out or receive minimal education, are probably headed toward a long, torturous career slinging burgers at a fast food joint." Misty Anderson
