End Of The World-Its Now 2012

The U.S. Government says that in the event of a huge disaster happening that your best chance of survival is to go underground. I know you've probably all seen the new show on T.V. called Doomsday Preppers. It's a show about people preparing for a coming disaster. It goes into detail showing how they prepare their underground shelters, raise and gather their food supplies and practice with weapons so they will be prepared to defend their shelters, family, and food stores.

Some of these people are really scary and as you watch the show you realize that these people have convinced themselves that the end is coming and they better get prepared. It amazes me what fear can cause some people to do.

Some underground shelters are elaborate and some are quite simple. Ask yourself if you wanted to survive the end of the world how far would you go in preparing for the end of the world. Some people are currently stocking food supplies and weapons getting ready for the end. Believe it or not but its believed that as many as 25 percent of all Americans are preparing in one way or another for the end of the world as we know it.

We have come far from the crazy looking guy with a sign screaming at you at that big intersection that the end is coming. Millions of dollars are now being spent to prepare people, families, and groups for the end of the world. Some people plan to survive and they are preparing for what they fear is a real coming event.

Was just watching the history channel and I watched a special that said according to the Mayan calendar that the world will end or change dramatically on December 21 2012. Some people have theorized that the poles will shift on that date and either the world will end or will be changed forever. But other people go as far as to say that a black hole will swallow the earth on December 21 , 2012 or an asteroid storm will wipe us out on that day. I wonder what they will say if the sun comes up on December 22 and the earth is still here.

Now I'm not going to say that the earth may never face a major event. Its more likely that we will than we won't. If a large asteroid were to strike the earth it could destroy the earth as we know it. All you have to do is look at the large meteor crater in Arizona and you know that it is possible. The large crater 43 miles east of Flagstaff is proof that large meteorites can and do strike the earth. The crater was created about 50.000 years ago by a meteorite that was about 55 yards across. If a meteorite of this size were to strike one of Americas largest cities the results could be devastating.

Did the Mayans Know When Aliens Would Return To Earth.

Some people are putting out the theory that aliens will return to earth on December 21 , 2012 and that they will take over and rule the world. Some people have even said that the aliens are coming back to harvest part or all of the humans possibly including you and me. Did the ancient Mayans know the date that the aliens would return to earth. There is a theory that some of the rulers of the Mayans were aliens from other worlds themselves. I don't know how much you have ever studied about the Mayan people but they were really advanced for their time in history.

What Would Happen If The Earth Was Attacked By Aliens.

The earth being attacked by aliens is the one thing that could bring all the people of earth together as one people. President Ronald Regan once talked about this possibility in one of his speeches. I do believe if the earth was being attacked by aliens that the world would suddenly find out real quick that to survive they would have to come together as one people to try to win the war with the aliens.

Back in the 1950s many Americans built underground shelters because they feared that a nuclear war was going to happen between the United States and Russia. Then just like today some people built simple shelters while others built elaborate shelters that they could have lived in with out coming out for years.

Fortunately the nuclear war never happened. So we never had to run and hide in our underground shelters and hope that we could survive a nuclear winter.

I hope that the people preparing for the end of the world now never have to bug out to their shelters.I hope they never have to find out if they can survive in their shelters.

It really amazes me that the end of the world as we know it has become a big industry with companies popping up every where to build doomsday shelters. Its really amazing what fear can do to us as humans. Fear has helped some people to make a huge living off the fears of other people.

I really wonder what these people will do with their end of the world bunkers and all the supplies they have put in them if the end of the world doesn't happen. But you have to remember that every few years another person starts saying that the end of the world is coming.

A Super-Volcano Could Wipe Out The Earth.

The number one way that the United States and probably most of North America could be destroyed is by a super-volcano. One of the few super-volcano's in the world is in Yellow Stone Park in Colorado. If the super-volcano were to erupt today it could wipe the United States out in just a few days and could end life here on earth as we know it. And there would be little or nothing the United States government could do to help us. Most people would not escape certain death. It's possible that some doomsday preppers might survive.

A Biological Event Like The Black Plaque Could Wipe Out The Earth.

A biological catastrophe could wipe out a huge part of the world's population. I know you've all watched the movies about a mutant virus wiping out the world but it could happen. The black plaque wiped out millions of people across Europe and smallpox and measles wiped out most of the Native Americans. Whole tribes of Native Americans were wiped out to the last man. A biological attack is one of the American governments greatest fears. And it should scare everyone because it could happen.

Fear Is The Greatest Thing That Humanity Faces In 2012.

One thing that really feeds the end of the world in 2012 is fear. People set and wonder what if. What if the world does end on December 21 , 2012. Could it be possible that the ancient Mayans knew that it would all end on that date? Why does their calendar end on that date?

Did you know that on December 21 , 2012 that a galactic alignment of the planets will occur that hasn't occurred in 26.000 years. It's now believed by many scientists that the Mayans knew that this unusual alignment of the planets would occur on December 21 , 2012. What the Mayans knew and how they knew it has astounded scientists throughout history.

Most likely nothing will happen. The sun will rise and set and when the sun rises on December 21 , 2012 a lot of people will breathe a sigh of relief. Leading up to the date a lot of people will fear what is coming on December 21. But most likely their fears will be unfounded and the end of the earth won't happen. After all if it does end no one will be here to say I told you so on December 22.

As the date gets closer and closer the fear of some people will build but people should keep in mind Y2K. All kinds of things were supposed to happen on that day but nothing happened did it. And down through history including many times in our life times the end of the world has been predicted but the next morning the sun came up and nothing happened. Most likely that's what is going to happen on December 21 , 2012.

Fear is one of the great driving forces that controls humans and we as a people fear what we don't know. A lot of people have convinced themselves that something bad is going to happen on December 21. Many fear that the end of the world will come. And when it doesn't they will be okay until someone else predicts a date in the near future when the end of the world will occur.

I won't bore you with my theories but I think the day may come that aliens show up on earth or quite possibly even attack us. That is the most likely thing that we have to fear. I have thought all my life that one day it would be confirmed that aliens are real. Just think about this. Do you realize how it would change the world as we know it if tomorrow a U.F.O. landed and CNN carried it live. I'm sure that there would be world wide panic but if the aliens didn't attack us we would know that we are not along. If the world doesn't end in 2012 maybe one day the aliens will come.
