Feng Shui Tips for Spring

Improve Energy Flow in Kitchen to Improve Health

According to feng shui, the state of the kitchen reflects your health. That’s why you should keep the energy flowing through it by removing the clutter in the kitchen, especially in the freezer and cupboards. You should also keep the stove and all the pans and pots clean. Instead of using cleaners with harsh chemicals, you should use natural kitchen cleaners. And if you want strong vibrant Chi to flow through the kitchen, you should clean out all the surfaces, light fixtures, and drawers.

Clean Under Beds, Tables and Sofas

Dust leads to the stagnation that is considered bad feng shui. It is the opposite of circulation and flow that brings prosperity and health. While doing your spring cleaning, you should clean under things, such as the bed, sofa, oven, and tables. This allows energy to flow with ease.

Have a Welcoming Entryway

To invite more positive energy into your home, you should place a new welcome mat at your main entryway. You should also place live green plants and wind chimes in the area to filter out any negative energy.

Remove Items that Don’t Belong in the Bedroom

Another way to de-clutter the bedroom is to relocate items that should not be there. These include workout equipment, work related items, and receipts. Clearing the clutter in your bedroom encourages positive energy and helps you sleep better. You should also open the windows daily for at least twenty minutes. Lastly, you should place some plants in the bedroom to help in the circulation of positive energy.

Organize the Closets

You should go through your clothes and remove items from your closet that you have not worn in the past six months. One way to do so is to empty all the contents of the closet and give the clothes the clutter test. Non-clothes items must have their separate space.

Feng Shui " Clean The Windows

Clean the Windows

Good feng shui practice is to wash the windows on a regular basis. Cleaning the windows provides a new perspective on life. If you have blinds or curtains, spring is the time to take them out and clean them. You should also consider opening your windows often to let natural light in.

These are the feng shui tips that you should do during your spring cleaning. Following the tips will promote positive energy in your home and make your spring cleaning more effective.
