GETTING STARTED WITH THE PROCESS

MY TOP 8 FAVORITE ACTIVITIES

SWAMPCAT COMES INTO MY WORLD

So I narrowed down my interests until they got to 8. Then I took the first letters from them and tried them in all configurations until I came up with the word SWAMPCAT. Then I sat and pondered what a swampcat might look like. Next I painted the little darling.

Just an interesting sidenote. I used this information to teach a class 3 years ago in Detroit. Then I forgot all about the darling Swampcat. Last year I wrote my first children's book, and guess what animal turned out to be the main character? An Ocelot from the Rainforest named Olivia. I got a chill when I found the course materials last week. Do you think Olivia Ocelot might be the Swampcat's cousin?
