How to do Visualization Correctly

Updated on March 26, 2010

I inserted the Zen relaxation video in the very beginning of this hub so that you can play it while you are reading the hub.

We are given five physical senses so that we may communicate to the physical world composed of solid, tangible and measureable form of matter.

The world that we live in is a product of the collective consciousness of the people in it. Yes, all 6 billion plus of us, creating thought, which moves energy, which then creates matter as we see it. The manifest.

I will not go into religion, or belief systems or political scenarios. I will confine this hub to a discussion on how to communicate properly what you wish to the unmanifest.

There are rules and they must be followed STRICTLY.

1. You can not covet that which belongs to another. You must not.

2. You must never influence the will of another. You must NEVER wish another harm.

3. You have to have faith..perfected faith..that if it is good for you, it will manifest. For a discussion of Faith, I suggest that you go to the Bible, the Hall of Faith.

There is nothing that someone owns that you can not have yourself if you sincerely desire it and if it is good for you in the long run. You can have what you want, in another form, another garment if you will. The analogy being the computer at Starship Enterprise. You order the computer to make a certain drink, and it gives it to you. Another officer does not have to have your drink because he can simply order one himself. This is very important.

For number 2, it applies directly to human relationships and romantic love. You formulate the characteristics of the person you would like as a partner, NOT a specific person. The reason being in that realm we go into the will of another and as long as you are bound to this, you are bound to disappointment. This is the meaning of “Be careful what you wish for." One person’s prince/princess could be your source of pain. You let them go and you let it be. You do not have to go out seeking that person, you simply have to pay attention so that you will know when he or she arrives in your life.

With perfected faith, you have detachment. It is detachment from the outcome that you want. An example would be, you want flowers. Well you go into the backyard and you see that the lilies have bloomed. That is manifestation, simple and clear.

So we go into the process of how you go about it.

1. Relax..whatever it is that you do in order to relax do so.

2. Go into the list of your desires and choose ONE

3. Use all of your senses to get into the FEELING of having what you want.

a. What?

b. Look?

c. Taste?

d. Touch?

e. Smell?

f. Sound?

It is NOT watching a movie…it is BEING in the movie. Observe the difference. Know the difference.

Do not worry if you are not good at it in the beginning. With practice you will be good at it. Never judge your experience as good or bad. It is another block that you create for yourself.

Lastly and the most important. Keep your desires to yourself until your faith is perfected. Keep doing the exercise.

Thank you, Lady_E for reading and leaving your comment. We always have to look within ourselves when that feeling arises, coveting that which belongs to another.

If one observes it fully, it will dissipate on its own.

This is a beautiful read. I often hear motivational speakers encourage people to visualise what they want, but no one has explained how to visualise correctly. I like the point you made about not Coveting what belongs to another person. Good Karma.

      Very useful Hub. Thanks.
