Grow yourself - constantly and consistently into a successful person

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”

Benjamin Franklin

Life is a continual flux or change. You are a spiritual being first and foremost, you have a soul and you live in a body. There are four main dimensions to your being and these in turn impinges on your needs. These needs are spiritual need, physical need, mental need, and social need.

In order to meet these needs on a personal basis and still contribute your greatest skill and talent you need grow as a person. You need to constantly and consistently raise your standards, remove limiting believe and change your strategy in your journey to create your reality.

Imagine you grow yourself such that you in terms of who you are (your identity), what you are able to do (capability), and the result (outcome or experience you realize. Simply it means that you change your mind set, change what you are capable of doing and become more productive. This automatically raises your awareness to what is possible hence your perception. You become more responsible in your commitment and integrity of purpose.

If you gain more skill, more ability, more intelligence, a capacity to do things few people can do, think creatively and contribute in a massive scale you can earn more than you ever thought possible.

Becoming rich isn’t about getting rich financially as about as about whom you need to become in character and mind, to get rich. The fastest way to to get rich and stay rich is to work on developing YOU! The idea is to grow yourself into a successful person.

“No one can tell whether he is rich or poor by turning to his ledger. It is the heart that makes a man rich. He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has.”

Henry Ward Beecher

Your outer world is merely a reflection of your inner world. You could be metaphorically likened as the root and your results are the fruits. Growing yourself to a successful person entails acquiring the attributes you require inside out to live the life of your dream. Therefore, if grow yourself to become a successful person, in strength of character and mind, you will naturally be successful in anything and everything you do. You will grow the inner power and ability to choose any business or investment area and prosper therein.

In a nutshell growing yourself entails growing more and more in your thinking; never being satisfied in your present situation or circumstance. Becoming a successful person means that you will be able to do what you need to do, have what you want including lots of money.

According to T. Harve Eker; the author of, “Secrets of the Millionaire mind” “the goal of creating wealth is not primarily to have lots of money, the goal of creating wealth is to help you grow yourself into the person you can possibly be.”. This in itself is mastery.

In conclusion, success is not a “what”, it’s “who.” Who you are is totally trainable and learn-able.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act but habit.”

- Aristole

Perhaps these quotes from Jack Welch, former Chairman and CEO of General Electric puts this captures the idea in this section:

“Before you are a leader, success is about growing yourself. When you become success is all about growing others.”
