How to Memorize everything easier and faster

Updated on July 30, 2012

Remember anything easy and faster

People just want to remember each and everything they come across especially their friends phone number, their account number, their ATM number etc.But very few are good in it.An easy way to do it is,put your total concentration on the thing you want to remember and suggest your mind that you will never, ever forget this thing.Repeat the thing to be remembered quite a few times.
Remember, our mind will never forget things that is repeatedly said or remembered again and again. If possible link the thing to things that you can recall quickly.A boy will instantly remember a girl's name and phone number even without repeating it many times because his total concentration is in that fact and he mixes his feelings also to remember the name and number.
He will remember them even if he is told only once.Likewise we should put our emotion strongly to remember things or think of some picture to co-relate it to the thing to be remembered. This comes easy when it is practiced.

Practice maketh a man. So continuous practice is essential for gradual development and to grasp things more easily and quickly. Make it a habit to talk to your mind often. Your mind is always in the receptive mood and only thing, we have to do is to put our thoughts strongly at the right time.

Our mind which is a complex matter, still unexplored to its full extent is a mass of electrons and there prevails a unique relation between these electrons. These electrons are more responsive when they are given a strong thought repeatedly. It has to be ensured that, the thought which is suggested to the mind should be given with an energy of confidence and emotion.

Moreover, give a time frame to memorize something. Never think that your mind will just memorize just like that if you give a suggestion and sit back. It needs a perfect plan and timing to do things. In other words our mind works more than a super computer. So it needs direction and proper plan to execute its work.

You will find it amazing, that a proper mind set will do excellent work than an unorganized mind. So, if you want to memorize something, just give the mind a proper commands, like this should be memorized in such a time  and we can also give some tags for the mind to recollect things. If you remind the tag to the mind, then it will automatically bring you the whole information or details you need.

Another easy way to remember things, is to co-relate the particular thing with some other objects which you are very familiar and will never forget. Like, if you want to memorize a phone number, you can analyze it and then compare with somebody's phone number which is similar to this number and find what is the difference between the two. Like, if John's number is 9443810245 and Ram's number is 9445601322. Here, we find that the initial numbers 944 is the same for both the persons, so you have one common factor and your task of remembering is reduced to seven numbers. Again if you notice the numbers, we find that there are two 2's in Ram's number, whereas there is only one two in John's. Likewise, we can create many factors which we find easy to remember and it depends upon individuals to decide which will be easier for them to grasp.

Further, another way to remember phone numbers is to create a tune with the number like the kids sing their rhyming songs. This has proved to be an effective method, since we remember songs more longer and grasp more faster than datas that are just read into the mind.

Apart from these methods, there is the process of repetition, which is the commonly practiced method. Try to remember a name or a number just by repeating it again and again for a certain number of times, until you are confident that you have it right.

Even though, you try many methods to remember things easy and faster, you have to consistently recollect them often so that it would be refreshed and after some time it will be imprinted in your mind and even if you want to ,those things will never get erased from your mind. For example, your name. You will never forget your name in this life, because it has been recollected for a considerable time, by which it is implanted in your mind and will never get erased provided you go mad or you lose your mind balance.
