The Good Life Is Worth Reading
When a new day begins and we have great hopes and dreams for our future
Then within minutes are ambitions and plans our dashed
From reading the news and seeing it first hand our sadness begins
It only escalates as reality t.v. adds to the burning fire
Where disasters and tragedy and ciaos is common place
Where we need drama and excitement in every moment
When everyone gets along it is just plain boring and dull
What have we become vicitms of our own living hell
It is time to break away from this vicious cycle of madness
We can live a life of excitement and true amazement
Few can argue a sky diver is ever board
Seeing the life that is in front of us in a different perspective is my goal
Taking our troubles and putting them on hold
Finding ways to make our lives better and greater with wonders that never cease
Helping others and getting the feeling of joy
That doesn't ever stop
We can explore all are avenues with great pleasure
Our triumphs will be amazing and our struggles endless and complicated
We will find the power to learn from others
We will find the help from friends we never expected
We can live our lives optimistic and promising
We have found the courage to reach beyond our own expectations
As life unfolds we constantly see new horizons
We realize when tragedy strikes
We have to use all our resources to perservere
With help from others we will survive
We have found a way of not just going through the same emotions
Avoiding the feeling today is just another day
Same old, same old, nothing changes
To living a life we want to and willing to keep change constant
