Imagination, a visual contemplation, of images,

to be held within the most inquisitive mind,

Not to be some weird contortion, of a sort,

or a maligning of reality, to be then, unkind.

The essences of its variations, in reflections,

as a brilliant mirroring, and of the finest line,.

The thoughts, all of the grandest sensations,

scripted or to be painted, on a canvas, so divine.

These pictures, as photographs, taken,

from memories, that are so firmly held, within,

The sum total of all, life's experiences,

of good, and bad, this from our births, to begin.

The answers to the questions, of some mystery,

of the now, yet, to what could have been done,

The stretching of truths, of the exaggerated,

few proofs, left in an inkling of beliefs, begun.

The images from the depths of the soul,

the shining spirits, that are all kept locked inside,

Displayed on the papers, and colorful screens,

then to infinity, to last forever, may in all, reside.

Each person to have, as a clever reprinting,

a priceless minting of the fondest, in each,

Its unceasing and ever forming refrain, the marvels,

of aspirations, to be found, within our reach.

Interesting . . . the true face of God, we would not be able to even look upon for its sheer glory, but we can find Him in His creation and in the faces of the downtrodden for sure, as He tells us in His word.

      Voted up

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Be assured, I believe in the one true God, maker of heaven and earth. I, too, have Cherokee heritage and feel that much of the time it shines through in my writings. Thank you for your kind messages.who.

To be honest with you, I wasn't sure I had chosen correctly in reading this poem when I came upon the picture with the label 'wrath of a God'. I believe in the gods the American Indians hold true to earth, sky, water, wind and fire, but when it comes to God, there is only one. Different cultures may give Him a different name, but God is God.

The photo entitled, 'the face of God' reassured me. And what a wonderful face He has!

Fantastic poem. It is funny because I have been wondering what is the depth of my imagination. I thought maybe exploring with a little meditation, but with my toddlers it is hard to find a quiet place, even for ten minutes.
