Justice And laws

Updated on February 23, 2015

The Stand your ground law permits individuals the right to use deadly force on others if they feels they are being threatening. These laws are dangerous to every mother's child in the state of Florida, especially Black children.

This week 12 jurors decided whether or not Michael Dunn should be charge with first degree murder for Killing Jordan Davis, a 18 year old Black boy who was just being a teenager. Playing loud music is not a reason to take a life.

No one can understand why it took the jury 27 hours to deliberate this case, this should have been a open and shut case. All the evidences were in no gun found, no one seen Jordan approach Michael with intent except Michael Dunn the angry killer.

Justice was not serve to the Davis family and their son, by the state of Florida. Did the Jury believe that Jordan was the aggressor?

Michael Dunn was sentence to 60 years for not killing Jordan but the attempted murders of the three teenagers as they sped away with their friend body.

There will be more killing of Black teens.

If this had been a case of a black boy shooting a white man, there would have been no trial. There would have been a plea deal and he would be in jail for the rest of his life. Plain and simple. There is definitely a double standard of justice in this country and obviously in Florida. Stand your ground puts this condition on to steroids. Great Hub, Jada67.
