Mindmapping for Expanding Creativity, Increasing IQ, and Improving Memory

Updated on February 24, 2016

BRAINSTORMING ON SHEETS OF PAPER

I often use Mindmapping to kick off a new project. It helps me to collect my thoughts about the subject I want to work on. The whole thing is a very organic way to grow a project. Don't be afraid to add more sheets of paper to your base sheet if you suddenly get a burst of inspiration that is running off the page.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A SIMPLE MINDMAP

Your focus word is your jumping-off point - you can go in any direction from there.

Don't be afraid to add more paper if you get on a tangent that you want to explore. Just tape new sheets on in any direction in which you want to go.

MY EXAMPLES

I'm going to show you some mindmaps I created. They are just to give you examples. I'm sure you will have some subjects to map that are dear to your heart. Have fun with this!!!

Colors have so many associations in our language and in our emotions.

As you go along, you can get more complicated.

I'll be branching out and using a lot of color in future mindmaps.

I HOPE YOU HAVE A LOT OF FUN

I really enjoy making these mindmaps. I hope you do too, and please share them with us after you've done some.

Love you,
