As orbiting planets about a star, home,

we each here have a ring of our own,

Some may stretch much further around,

but all encircling, and never to roam.

Perceptions, a sense of reality, somehow differ,

in the way they may all appear,

Yet each has a common thread, a link,

a part and parcel of the one big sphere.

Much like a mother hen has her eggs, to hatch,

and the tiny brood, to run all about,

When in trouble, return to their mother, post haste,

as if she gives them a warning shout.

How we see and hear, and our senses,

each of us is to perceive, what we must,

What may appear big and red to one, to another,

may be small and blue, in their trust.

Seems a mystery and strange to have a reality,

if that which we see, is so unalike,

There must be a common musical note,

and as a uniting string, for us then to strike.

Each may go on their separate ways,

as on this earth, we live this life, and all to spin,

Every soul is born to experience their days,

then returning to the soil, in the end.

A uniting force, a strengthening chord,

is love and a goodness, to be expressed,

This characteristic is of the human kind,

is a spirit from within each, to be blessed.

Feelings of kindness, in our perceptions,

are emotions that serve to bring us together,

A like minded connection of all creation,

and as God's hand, shall hold us strong, forever.

Beautiful. I love your "a uniting chord" reference, it's what makes the relationship real and strong.

Beautifully written and the photography is a serene complement to the words. Some Quantum physicist theorize that our subatomic particals vibate at varying speeds in response to the vibrations of these particals in other humans. This could be considered as a comon thread among us. Voted up

Although we each live in our own world, is there a common thread that holds us together as unified in human kind? This is why I wrote this poem about the subject.
