Updated on December 29, 2013

Subliminal Messages

Subliminal messages or hidden messages are those which our sub-conscious mind receives every time with out the knowledge of the Conscious mind. These subliminal messages are continuously received to subconscious mind in different formats (visual, auditory and other means) with out the knowledge of our consciousness. Our Subconscious mind does not know whether the message it received is a positive one or negative one. It just takes what ever it receive and store inside. Unfortunately the world we live in most of the inputs we receive will be negative one eventually we start accepting the negative for ourselves. These subliminal messages we receive plays a significant role in molding the behavior of the individual.

Consider if a boy continuously receive these messages from parents and teachers that "you are lazy, you don't have ability to learn things, you are a dull headed person" eventually he loose interest in studies and becomes lazy. Such messages we hear from childhood days makes us to loose in every aspect. Remember we are born to achieve Victory but we program ourselves to Failure.

Subliminal messages are widely used in Advertising Industry to improve the sales of the product. In an experiment conducted at the movie theater along with movie "Drink Cola, Eat Pop Corn" images were displayed for millisecond time frame several times, which improved the sales of the Cola and Pop Corn. Subliminal messages are also used to brain washing methods.

Hence we can understand that subliminal messages bypass our conscious mind get access to subconscious mind. All our fears, habits, phobias, likes and dislikes are because of the subliminal messages we already received. Hence reprogramming our mind through positive subliminal messages is important to improve the life style and achieve the goals.

Reprogramming the mind can be possible by positive affirmations every day several time especially in the morning and night before going to bed. Laminate your affirmations or picture of your goal in bed room so that you can see it after wake up and before going to bed.

Counter all the negative messages you receive. When you hear the next time " you are lazy " from someone immediately counter the negative with positive affirmation saying " I am hard working and i like to work ". This results in achieving the balance between the two contradictory statements received by your sub conscious mindSubliminal messages software, Audios do help to program your self to achieve success and reach your goals.

Agreed. Subliminal messages are in television shows, music, imagery and commercials, it's a form of brain washing the subconscious memory. But it may only affect the individuals that are slave-minded and want to be told what to do all the time.

Subliminal mind-control can be reversed by taking control of your own mind with positive messages, Bible verses, positive imagery, positive music, and positive-quality relationships not people that are a bad influence.

Saturate and brain-wash your mind with positivity and Godly wisdom.

The same way you would put your body on a cleansing diet and avoid foods that are bad for you, and replace your diet with foods that are natural and nutritious; you would have to do the same with your mind.

Where the mind is, the body will follow.

In Christianity, speaking negatively to someone is called "cursing." The power of life and death is in the tongue, scripture says. In another place it says the tongue is the rudder that guides the ship of our life. Jesus told us, "Let your yes be yes, and your no be no." He means, say exactly what you mean.

To counter negative words with positive ones is also Biblical. Elijah broke a curse on a well. It was poisoned, but clean afterward. King Solomon responded to those who cursed him by saying, "Let this curse fall on your head. But, as for me and my house, let God's blessings come."
