Thank you Sa'ge! It is my pleasure to follow you. I am not always here either, even less now with college, but I always try to check stuff out if I have the time.

Glad you liked the hub! I hope your distant realm of life helps you come up with your own sayings :)

I love what the children learned most of all, they always amaze me with what they have to say. If more people would only pay attention to the little ones and what they have to say the world would be a far better place to live.

Thank you so much for this hub. and thank you for following me. And welcome back, i am not always here so if you see me not I am in some distant realms living life. :D hugs :D

Thank you Becca! You are quite right, re-reading these is always a great idea. That's kind of why I typed this list up in the first place. There's too much wisdom to let it go to waste. Thanks for reminding me of that :)

Thanks rockstar! I hope at least a few people got these sayings shared around!

Thank you as well, Goldie! I happened to have stumbled upon that painting as I was writing the Hub, and I thought it would be a great addition to the article. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

...and on a side note, I now know what NOT to feed my goldfish.

I've learned that "where ever you go, there you are."

@ H.C Porter - that is very true, and I couldn't have said it better myself. It reminds me of what my English teacher taught me with the book "Heart of Darkness". You have to fall into the darkness before you can come out into the light.

Thanks for the comment, and the welcome!

@ samboiam - correct me if I'm wrong, but is that referring to not avoiding your obstacles? If so I would have to agree. I actually wrote a paper on how the overcoming of obstacles promotes growth and maturity. I think that ties in to that notion.

      Thanks for the comment :)

I’ve learned that life is hard, cruel, unjust, terrifying and bad things happen, but I have also learned that the hard times build up your strength, the cruelty in some brings out the sincerity in others, the unjust times make you aware of others and the effect they have on you and you have on them, the terrifying times put you in a position to face and conquer your fears and each bad thing and bad day makes you appreciate the good things and good days, that much more. Life is worth every minute of every single day.

Love the Hub! We should never forget we will never know everything there is to learn in this life. Rated Up...And welcome to Hub Pages!

I thought that this was a great hub. It clearly shows the way people think as they grow older.

I feel inspired to follow these teachings and even create my own. Excellent hub.
