Stop Wasting Time-Focus onto YOUR OWN Product Creation

Updated on July 31, 2012

Step by Step Guide

Stop wasting your time reading this article; now go my friend, fly like the wind & finish off your creation.

(No one else is going to do it for you)

OK, only joking, hang around here just for a few more minutes because within, is a little ditty datty dotty that may be bothering YOU right now, HOLDING YOU BACK especially if you are like me at times & so many millions of other ‘dreamers’ out there & this piece of information is just a little reminder, keeping you on your toes getting you back on track if you know what I mean, but, I would like to tell you first hand, through experience, “YES YOU CAN DO IT!”

Think about it for a moment, an inspiration, dreams, suddenly realized, ordinary folk, with an ambition, just take a look at all the very popular bestselling novels by brand new writers that are constantly popping up all over the place.

Wow, what an opportunity heh?

It happened for them & it can happen for you & for me!

(That’s only down to each of us)

Now usually, it’s at this point that you wish you were here with me, probably to sit on my lap (steady on there tiger) so that you can shake my hand or kiss me full on the cheek (just like the French & Italians would do, I’ve seen them) & I don’t blame you, we are human after all & I am quite a guy you know. A little shy maybe, even if I do say so myself!

Cuddly, friendly, sweet & helpful!

Intelligent, good looking, mature & boy can I cook!

But don’t rush over yet I haven’t hoovered.

Hear me out, this could make sense!

Many of us, & I mean many of us, & even you, even me, have a dream, a dream of actually publishing a self help or step by step book, the next best selling full length feature novel, music, blogging articles, a DVD or two or whatever you feel you need to get out there for all the world to see, but first, even though, you may take the privilege of selling someone else’s product, as an affiliate marketer so you don’t have to make your own & this is another sure fire way for you to make money but deep down, you know you want to create your very own product/s you really do

Oh the fame & the fortune

& I don’t blame you either because

If we look at things another way, within this world there are two kinds of people

The creators

The ones who like to be entertained (& by the way, all the ones who like to be entertained way way WAY outnumber all the creators out there)

There are just not enough of us because when the next best seller comes out; would you wish it was you who created it?

That’s what dreams are made of. We create our own dreams!

So, for all who would like to be entertained, that’s where you & I come in

Great or what? What an opportunity!

So so freelance

But, there seems a mighty real problem, in fact, one of the most common problems folk faces, possibly even you, & I.

Don’t worry; you’re not alone just read what I got to tell you first before you throw away your idea of a dream. And the life that is meant for you!

We are all creators.

Let me just say that again so that it sinks in

Amazing or what?

What does this mean?

Some do=CREATE

Others don’t; leaving it up to others to do-CREATE FOR THEM!

Look at history. Repeat it if you must!

History, for instance, just take a look at the computer, MAC, laptop, device or mobile which you are using right now to read this work of art!

Not quite a book or a DVD but

Who made them huh?

How do you think they did it huh?

Obviously, first step, the creator had a dream, a vision.

Just like you, just like me, just like Bob down the road!

Second step, he or she drew out plans, or created an idea outline that will help him achieve his or her goal, comprende!

Now, I bet you reading this, have already attempted these first two vital steps for a project creation of your own but somehow, your creation is still not out there.

Is it?

Shame on you!

(Don’t worry; I’m still your friend)

Now, this is a very very important step, & this is the reason that your project is STILL incomplete.

As is mine!

In fact, I help people, some say, I inspire them, they really do, do I charge for my time & my efforts? No way! That’s not for me because

I only help those that are

Ready for this

Drum rolls please here we go,

I only help those that help themselves!

But anyway, this isn’t about me this is about you I am so so self centered sometimes please excuse my outburst just drop me a note if you must as I’m about to let you into a secret that should also inspire you too so without further ado.

2: CREATE A FOLDER ONTO YOUR DESKTOP & place into it, or save your current project document right there for you to see whenever you open your computer

3: STOP MESSING ABOUT MAKING EXCUSES such as opening your e-mails left right & center, reading other folks books films or whatever (instead of creating your own)

You have to create a new habit, especially if you are not used to working a little at a time, often, onto your very project that’s all it takes, you make the time, then, you start by creating a new habit, the longer your at it, your brain hacks into a new dimension a new thought process develops & a way of life to go with your work unfolds before you, slowly but surely, therefore over a period of time, your habit is formed & working on such a book product or a creation becomes second nature.

& that’s about it really

Get stuck in, no one’s going to do it, only you can do it for yourself & don’t forget, put your current work directly onto your desktop so you don’t forget it & bang at it a little each day.

Let me know how you get on

My problem (or at least one of them) is 'overwhelm'. It gets to a point of too many fingers in too many pies and I can't juggle them all. The internet changes so fast I don't want to spend all my energy on a site which may fold. The downside is no one project gets the time it deserves.

For me social media isn't a time sucker, it's email and checking my stats.

Let's just say, there is room for improvement.

I like your writing style on this, humour, in my opinion, always makes an article more enjoyable.

Thank you for commenting kaceofbase, personally, I have an abundance of (unfinished) projects all over my computer & I know for sure, many others are just like me, prevented from finishing works that need publishing because of certain excuses so, putting all time wasting aside I now have actually published my latest 'horror' novel on Amazon titled 'The Fingernail'

I would love to read any published works you have to, just reply back & let me know what the title is.

One aspect I found about self publishing, especially on Amazon is, one must market their work, to get off the starting block, I am experimenting right now & let you know the outcome.

      Regards Dale

An inspiring hub, sharp and motivates. I was shock when reading the first paragraph, ... oh my, it was a joke. In that case you are right about help ourselves, but sometimes we need a little help from our friend. Thank you inspired-to-write.

I really enjoyed your hub. We have very similar ideas on lots of things. I loved the bit about the two different types of people. Thanks so much for sharing and I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff!
