Links to FREE Certification Practice Tests
Why spend money on Certification Review Materials when there are lots of FREE practice tests online. You can ace your Medical Assistant Certification test without spending money on overpriced review tests and study guides.
The American Association of Medical Assistants provides FREE practice tests on its website. Do not be fooled when they say none of the questions will be listed on the test. They usually post variations of the exact same questions. Many of the questions are also relevant for the NCCT Medical Assistant Certification test.
If you decide that you want to spend the additional money on purchasing review materials then the best book you can get for the money is the National Certified Medical Assistant Exam Secrets Study Guide. Save a few bucks. The cheapest place I have found to purchase it at is Amazon.
If you don't want to spend the extra cash then do a Google search for NCMA or CMA test questions. You will get a ton of great websites to help you hit the books and get a great passing score on your test.
Where to find FREE Medical Assistant Certification Review Tests
One of the best and most amazing FREE websites is proprofs.com. I was able to search by name the test I was taking and tons of free practice tests came up. I also was able to search by each category that you will be tested on. Such as: Medical Terminology, Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, Injections, Medical Law and Ethics, and Medical Office Procedures to name a few.
Medical Terminology Tips
No matter which Medical Assistant Certification test you choose to take, a large portion of every test focuses on Medical Terminology. The majority of the test questions are going to be over basic prefixes and suffixes.
