The Power to create wealth:It's all in your imagination
The Power to create wealth:It's all in your imagination

"There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge. Both poverty and riches are the offsppring of thought."

- Napleoan Hill

How does one develop the power to create wealth?

You've heard this before. But what does it really mean? Well you have the power to create all the wealth that you need in life and that power is within you. The key question is to have a clear understanding of the concept of wealth, and how to go about creating it. You have the faculties you need to bring about these transformation and also you need to have an understanding of how to effectively apply these equipment to create your reality.

In this article, I'll look at what is wealth, and the basic principles to creating it and how you can develop this ability in you to create abundance.

What is wealth?

Wealth mean different things to different people? But for my own perspective wealth is a way of thinking and a way of being. In a nutshell, it is a means to maximize our potential and positioning ourselves in a position of power, opulence with the sole idea of creating things -ideas, things, information of value. It is asset as opposed to liability.

In his book "How to get what you want" Wallace D Wattles, reasoned that:

"Wealth culture consists of making constructive use of people and things in your environment."

The key word here: constructive is worthy of note. What doe it mean to be constructive? "He said that to act constructively is to convey an idea of increase; to make every act and thought constructive."

There wealth is a way of thinking and acting towards a given situation. It's the ability to create abundance in an environment where everyone see lack; or look for solution where everyone see problems. It's a way of thinking, feeling and acting. Ultimately the result shows in terms of the outcome of having such lifestyle.

How to create wealth

In the forgoing we've looked briefly at the concept of wealth. Wealth creation in modern world is not a case of mineral wealth. Riches is rather the ability to transform raw materials into useful and marketable products.

Here we're going to see how to create wealth and the basic equipment you need to make it happen. If you can think you have the power to create wealth. The first important requirement is to clearly define what wealth creation mean to you; that is to have a wealth consciousness. You need imagination - the ability to see the unseen before it happens.

Einstein said that, "Imagination is more important then intelligence.". .

According to Earl Prevette, in his book, "How to turn your ability into cash":

"Intelligence is the capacity and ability to size up yourself, size up your environment and to organise then into a workable plan that you may share in life's abundance.

From the above definition, there interplay of different concepts and elements as we look at the definition of intelligence.

  • The ability and capacity
  • To size your self
  • Size up your environment
  • Organize them - your capacity and ability. your self, your environment
  • Into a workable plan
  • To share life's abundance

What these pieces of information mean? It's clear that you need imagination - yes lots of it to harness the power locked in these ideas.

Wealth creation as to share in life's abundance requires that you are able to imaginatively and creatively use you thinking faculties - your mind to organize your thoughts and environment into a workable plan so as to position your self to enjoy life abundance. To be able to do something scientificaly and effectively it is essential that you need a plan.

The human mind has the ability to shape and control matter. Every concrete thing in the world is the product of a thinking consciousness. The laptop that I'm using to write my article was conceived first in the imagination of Bill Gate. Different human creative endeavors were first formed in the imaginations of their creators. Therefore the wealth consciousness has to begin in the mind of the creator as an idea. The idea will provoke a desire which then leads to creation of a plan to fulfill the desire.

In his book,"Think and Grow Rich"; Napolean Hill said that " Capacity means imagination - the one quality .needed to combine specialized knowledge in the form of organised plans designed to yield riches."

The idea here is that the ability to create wealth is not limited to any particular discipline - all you need is full dose of imagination , and idea rooted in specialized knowledge, a workable plan designed woith the ultimate plan towards an end - to yield riches as the case will be.

The question is:

  • Do you have imagination?
  • Do you have any idea based on a special knowledge?
  • Do you have a workable plan?
  • Do have an ultimate form to transform this plan as to reap the benefit?
  • Can you share this information with those who need it so that they but into your idea - pay for it.?

"Yeah!" You an in business and on your way to delivering something of value to those who need it - your customers or clients as the case may be.

The challenge

You have read this article. Well and good. But how can you apply the knowledge to your advantage towards creating the wealth you need. Know that knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when and if it is organised into definite plan of action, and directed towards a definite end. Napoleoan Hill said that:

" The accumulation of great fortune calls for POWER, and power is acquired through highly organised and intelligently directed knowledge, but the knowledge does not, necessarily have to be in the possession of the man who accumulates the fortune."

What knowledge, skill, experience, talent or aptitude can you apply today using your imagination towards the creation of the wealth you desire?

But remember this: "... the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth."

What do you think?
