The Secret File of The Earth(2): 30 degree latitude north A. Devil Zones

Updated on March 4, 2015

Burmuda Triangle

In 1502, Columbus and his sailing fleet ran into the most devastating windstorm in all his life when they approached to Burmuda Triangle on their forth trip to America. In the letter that he wrote to the king, he described that the boiling waves had lasted for 7,8 days, and the sky had barely been seen. Without any understandable reasons, all their navigation facilities were out of control, and the compass pointer was 6 degree turning aside from true north to northwest, which is the phenomenon of magnetic declination. (The phenomenon exists everywhere on the globe. Columbus was the first person who discovered it in the west, but Shen kuo, an ancient Chinese scientist, discovered it several hundred years ahead of Columbus.) Fortunately, Columbus survived, and that was the first written record about the mystery of Burmuda Triangle. However, hundreds of ships and planes had been reported to be mysteriously disappeared without any trace within the Burmuda Triangle. So far, there has yet been convincible theory that can explain this phenomenon. Some scientists have advanced the theory that many of the planes and ships have been transported into some kind of Black Hole or time warp. According to this knowledge, a huge meteoric stone fell into the Atlantic Ocean about 1500 years ago, and the meteorite acts like a huge Black Hole with extremely strong grativation that can suck down the light. Furthermore, there had been a meteorite for the record that impacted Belize on Mexico Peninsula. The meteoric stone destroyed almost everything, and the dust had blanketed the Earth for about 10 years. Since Burmuda is near to Belize, scientists wonder if Burmuda Triangle has been affected by the double grativation.

Dragon Triangle

Opposite to Burmuda Triangle, on the other end of 30 degree latitude north in the Pacific, there is another devil triangle ocean area, which is in the east of Japan. Local people call it "Dragon Triangle". Dragon triangle is much less known than Burmuda, but there has happened as many freakish events as in Burmuda.

American aviator, Amelia Earhart, was the first woman aviator who had independently flied across the Atlantic and the first woman aviator who had independently flied across American continent. At 12:30 pm on July 2, 1937, she and the navigator, Fred Noonan, started the last section of her round-the-world flight from New Guinea. However, when passed through Dragon Triangle, they had disappeared, and never came back. The current government of the United States spent 4,300,000$ to search them, but nothing was gained.

In December, 1944 (the late period of World War II), American famous No.3 naval fleet attacked the savage Japanese Kamikaze death squad on the sea between Philippine and Japan. However, when they refilled fuel after three days fierce battle, a hurricane with 220 km/hr and 18-meter-high waves caught them. As a result, 4 carriers, 200 planes, 765 seamen, and about 1000 other soldiers and officials were buried into the sea, which was the most serious damage of the United States during the second World War much more than that in Pearl Harbor Battle. General Halsey was severely reprimanded. However, half year later, the same thing happened again to the same army, same general at the same location.

Derbyshire was the largest ship in British history. It was twice as big as Titanic, and longer than 3 football fields together. Its design was known as perfect to stand any hurricane. However, the young sailor, Peter, wrote his unutterable worry about Derbyshire in his log. In 1980, Peter in his 19 signed contract with Derbyshire in order to earn wedding expense. Unfortunately, on September 9th, this huge ship and the whole crew, together with 150,000 ton iron ore, lost touch with the land at 200 naval miles away from Okinawa, Japan. 14 years later, a British expedition found and salvaged Derbyshire near Dragon Triangle. After close examination and computer simulation, scientists gave different explainations. Besides these,

China Yuan army ran into hurricane on the sea in 1274 when they were invading to Japan, and 25,000 soldiers out of 45,000 were killed; 70,000 out of 120,000 were killed by another hurricane in 1281 when they were on the second invasion.

On April 19th, 1949, Japanese ship, Kuroshio, lost within Dragon Triangle, and 23 crew people disappeared.

On June 8th, 1952, a Japanese fishing vessel and 29 seamen were gone from Dragon Triangle.

On September 23, 1952, a Japanese scientific ship went to Dragon Triangle to try to disclose the reality. In the following 3 days, the base did not obtain any signals from it, and finally disclaimed its disappearance.

On July 26, 1955, American F-3B jet with 2 pilots lost connection with aero-naval base.

On March 12th, 1957, American KB-50 tanker airplane with 8 personnel lost touch with the base.

On June 7th, 1963, a Japanese ship was found floating on the sea surface of Dragon Triangle.

In January, 2002, a Chinese cargo carrier, Lin Jie, with 19 personnel suddenly disappeared on the sea near Nagasaki, Japan.

So far, there is none of theories, including climate theory, geology theory, magnetic field theory, and alien visitors theory, that can definitely explain these events, especially those happened to American carriers and Derbyshire, the advanced technologies. In 1989, Charles Belize, the author of Burmuda Triangle, published his another famous book, Dragon Triangle, in which Charles described Ghost ship, a ship without humans in it floating on the sea for years, which was also described in detail by the prince of Britain emperor, Geoge V, in his sailing log. Charels attributed this phenomenon to unidentified flying objects (UFO) and unidentified diving objects (UDO). Actually, there has been lots of reports that scientists or commoners witnessed UFO over Dragon Triangle. In 1985, American movie Cocoon imagined alien base in the deep Pacific ocean, which led to all those freakish events. However, what is the real?

Poyang "Burmuda" of China

On April 16, 1945, right before the end of World War II, a Japanese transportation ship, the Kobe, with a rating of 2000 tons mysteriously disappeared without any signal when it was on the water field around laoye temple of northwest Poyang lake. The whole crew with 200 people were all gone. Later on, Japanese navy sent people into the lake to search. However, all were gone except only one: yamashita, but he was not in his right mind after coming out of the water. After the war, a famous American underwater specialist, Edward Boer, came to Poyang lake with his team. They tried to found the Kobe. However, all divers but Edward had disappeared without known reasons. 40 years later, Edward finally stated his experience on that trip. "In days, we were going on search in the water several kilometers under the surface, but we did not find any trace of the ship. When we turned to northwest, there flashed out a dazzling white light flying toward us. At the moment, a sudden vibration with ear-splitting sound happened on the lake bottom, and a strong attraction sucked down us. The other three partners were all gone with the white light, while I struggled desperately out of the surface..."

The "death valley" of Naples, Italy

Near Naples and Valler lake, there are two "death valleys", which only endanger animals, not humans. It is said that more than 30,000 animals died there every year. Based on scientific studies, the death is not because animals prey on each other, or collectively commit suicide, or human behaviour, but no one knows the real reason.

The "death valley" of California

In the mountain area between California and Nevada, there is also a "death valley" with 225 km long and 6-26 km width. On the contrary to the one of Naples, this "valley" is a heaven of animals, but endangers humans. In 1949, an American expedition team on searching gold mines lost their way and mistakenly entered this valley. Most of them were dead there. The few people who crawled out also died soon without reasons. Later time, some explorers wanted to discover the enigma. Still, most of them were dead in valley, while survivors never made clear what happened there. However, there live 200 kinds of birds, 10 kinds of snakes, 17 kinds of lizzards, and more than 1500 kinds of wild donkeys.

Could this have anything to do with the missing Flight 777?

Seriously interesting, never heard of the Dragon Triangle or Devil Zone - just goes to show that sometimes we westerners only think of our own little area - now I am going to go digging on google!
