Pseudo Society: The Society Against Lumpy Socks
Sock Lumps Are a Real Problem
There is nothing worse than putting on a pair of socks, putting on your shoes and discovering that one or both of your socks has a lump that puts pressure on your toe(s) and if you do not correct the problem, will in fact cause a red irritation and perhaps a blister to form on your foot.
You Are Not Alone
A sock lump may jar you from your daily experience. You may lament to others and others may not understand, but, some may understand completely.
Until today, I had never heard of Band-aid Friction block.
I do not know if that is something that would fix the problem of lumpy socks.
What causes a lump or pill inside your sock? How to prevent lumps from occurring. Is buying new socks the only treatment?
Some May Laugh
Some, not completely understanding the situation, may laugh.
There are children, who upon putting on socks, will cry and complain about a lump in their sock. It's because those lumps hurt. It causes pain. It's not imaginary. The biggest problem that I find is that if you don't correct that lump, that lump will rub on your toe and will cause a blister.
Blisters are very painful, cause limping and the blister will need attention.
How About You
What is your experience with sock lumps and what brand of socks did you end up with to correct the problem?
The following picture shows what damage a sock lump or two can do.
